Job Description

    *The Trade Capture Review (TCR) is a review performed on critical controls involved in the booking and financial recording of certain non-standard transactions. The aim of the TCR is to reduce the risk of financial misstatement presented by non-standard transactions. More specifically, the TCR has the following objective:Ensure that the deal terms agreed on the term sheet with the customer, are represented correctly in the firms risk systems, books and records.These reviews are deemed necessary for non-standard trading activity which may challenge the integrity of the primary controls.The TCR role in Mumbai will work closely with the Trading Desks and Trade Support groups across Asia, Europe and US, they will sit within the Equity Trade Support Groups in Mumbai. Knowledge of Equity derivative products, Deal Review and front to back flow for OTC Equity Derivative products is required, although training will be given and is on-going. The ability to communicate clearly and concisely with internal clients is paramount. The role requires the sharing and discussing of knowledge between the group. The role is not for an individual to manage a group however you will be in constant contact with other areas within Morgan Stanley and will need to manage/prioritize your requests.Team play and leadership are always desirable. Your ability to pick up a problem / reconcile risk/docs when you are busy will show you have the drive to work in this environment., *Product knowledge : Equity exotic / complex derivativesStrong numeracy and analytical skillsAccuracy, attention to detail, good organization skillsGood communication skills are essential, should be accurate, knowledgeable and professionalSolid knowledge of Microsoft Office, and/or other relevant applications
