Job Description

    OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE:To own, execute and manage projects from requirement gathering to go-live for self & team below. To analyse issues & resolve it by providing solutions.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:1. To own for complete project execution for self & team2. To manage a team of 3 to 4 members3. Requirement Gathering, BRD Documentation, BRD Reviews & signoffs4. Plan and manage UAT - Review of scenario and testpack preparation5. Analyse production issues & provide solutions6. System gap analysis and understanding users pain areas to proactively take up suitable actions for improvising user satisfaction7. Communicate with internal and External Stake holders to support Project Implementation8. Lead a team of business analysts & testers9. Present on work done by team & self in management reviews10. Team managementINTERACTIONSInternal Relations: Claims , ITExternal Relations: Vendor management SkillsREQUIRED QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS:Educational Qualifications: CA/MBA/BE/PG/GR with Life Insurance Domain Knowledge and Technical Skills (Preferably Underwriting).Work ExperienceCA/ PG- 6- 7 yrsGR/ BE- : 8 - 9 yrs. of Experience in business analysis , project management, team managementCertifications: CBAP , ISTQB ( Preferable)Other skill set/Responsibility :- Excellent communication , planning & organising , techno-functional skills, solution -oriented, good inter-personal skillsCOMPETENCIES:Planning and Organizing:1. Plotting project plan with timelines of the project2. Setting priorities for tasks in order of importance3. Takes routine day-to-day decisions without delay4. Identifies requirements and uses available resources to meet own work objectives in optimal fashion5. Highlighting the deviations in timelines and any roadblocks6. Maintaining proper documentation of all relevant communications and approvals and sign offs7. Monitors the attainments of own work objectives and/or quality of the work completedProblem Solving:1.
