A philosophy that balances personal lifestyles, perspectives and needs is an important part of our culture.Department Profile Background on the Team Korea Fixed Income Sales team covers all institutional clients in Korea across central bank, sovereign wealth funds, banks, securities firms, insurers, asset managers, and hedge funds across all fixed income products. The sales team transacts with this diverse set of clients across products (bonds, derivatives, loans).The sales team represents the Firm to clients, and serves as client s gateway to the Firm. It is the responsibility of Sales and its support team to act as the conduit for clients to all stakeholders of the Firm including traders, structurers, and research analysts in order to provide best in class services.You will become a critical part of the sales team, both in liaising with clients support team, providing valuable trade (and business) analysis in order to streamline our production, and better serve our clients.Primary Responsibilities This position would suit a trade support or middle office professional who has previous experience with a global investment bank or within a custody setting, and is seeking to support a high-performing team.The sales and trading teams will often be direct in their communication, so its important that the Sales Assistant is able to communicate succinctly and concisely. The candidate would be able to build a strong rapport with clients, and require close liaison with other teams and external vendors to deliver excellence to the Firm s clients., *Responsibilities: Work with trade support teams, salespeople, sales assistants and external Middle Office functions to ensure perfect trade bookings and settlement, and quick resolution of trade disputeWork with the sales desk to set up and facilitate new client opportunities including but not limited to account creation and KYC processesInvolve in ad-hoc projects for the teamRemain flexible and focused in regard to products dealt withMaintain team-wide propriety dataSkills desired We are looking for high caliber people who possess the following competencies:Around 2+ years experience in a middle office / trade support capacity at a global investment bank or investment firm in CreditExperience working with sales/tradersAbility to work with colleagues in offshore locations, maintain communication and build rapport with these colleaguesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcel and data analysis experienceA disposition with high attention to detailUnderstanding of Fixed Income Credit ProductsMorgan Stanley is an equal opportunities employer.
