Dear Job Seeker,Currently, We are looking for the AssistantJava Developerin Bhandup West - Mumbai.Designation / Position: AssistantJava DeveloperAbout the Company: Headquartered in Mumbai, India, It was incorporated in 2007, and started out as rendering consultancy services in the finance, transactional processing & software development spaces.Fintech start-up with a focus on providing powerful tech enabled services which are redefiningthe way financial services are traditionally rendered.This Fintech arm will focus on full time delivery of tech enabled financial services and will be supported by a dedicated team specializing in cutting-edge Fintech products.Job Description / Duties & Responsibilities / Skills:With financial transactions forming the backbone of the solution, robust, scalable and innovative architecture is critical to our design. We are looking for a team member who shares the same passion for innovation to join us and get a head start in an exciting software development environment.Presently we run large, fairly complex software applications for our clients wherein we process close to 6 lakh digital transactions a day. The primary function of these applications is to provide automated and improved financial services through tech enabled software technology. These applications range from complete backend solutions which are directly integrated with the clients ERP or may be completely standalone supported by a custom built UI of their own such as a web portal or a mobile app.

1. Design, implement and maintain highly scalable, multi-tier, distributed server software applications.
2. Handle all aspects of the stack - building web frontends (JavaScript / React) and backends (Django / Python) and REST APIs.
3. Get/design specifications/wire frames/ mockups and translate them into scalable, high performance, robust applications. Be able to conceptualize and develop prototypes quickly.
4. Responsible to write and maintain clean, well-written code, as per industry best practices. We expect you to own and take pride in the products you ship.
5. Participate in the entire application life cycle, focusing on coding, troubleshooting and debugging (client side, server side, database)
6. Comfortable with daily standup with clients, update daily work progress via Project Management systems, voice/video calls, online collaboration using screen-sharing tools.
7. Open to learning related technologies and expected to work on any of the projects with core java development, web application development, API (SOAP/REST)development, Development on RAD platform (Servoy)
8. Be the first person responsible in responding to production issues and conducting any technical analysis to arrive at solutions
9. Function in a dynamic start-up environment as we experiment with new products andimprovements

• Good understanding of Java/J2EE and design patterns, hands on experience in building application
• Have proven projects under your belt where you have played an integral role
• Strong knowledge of data structures and designing for performance, scalability and

availability Knowledge in MongoDB and Web services

• Knowledge of use of Instruments and Shark to detect memory leaks and for

performance optimization

• Good grasp of algorithms, memory management, and multithreaded programming
• Good to have - Python, NodeJS, Mysql, Redis, Elastic Search
