Job Description

    • Experience of 2-3 years in an IT operations role with a IT System Integrator or in an inhouse IT setup. Should have been responsible for performing the following tasks:
    • Managed Facility Management Services in an organization having at least 10 locations: Hardware support for at least 20000 desktops, laptops & tablets. Support on Windows and MacOS for MS Office and other personal productivity software
    • Monitoring vendor SLAs for services
    • Vendor management, Scoping, contracting/Leasing, commercial negotiations
    • Key Deliverables of this role
    • 1. Performing service management SLA reviews with IT managed services vendors
    • a. Tracking deviations in SLAs and implementing appropriate corrective actions
    • b. Working with internal IT stakeholders to implement improvement plans
    • 2. Driving Problem Management and internal Customer Satisfaction
    • 3. Keeping the IT Services catalog updated keeping in mind the evolving requirements of the organization. Ensure that SLAs are met consistently by various stakeholders within IT
    • 4. Carrying out the procure-to-retire processes for IT assets
    • a. Managing entire lifecycle of End point devices
    • b. Ensuring overall health of IT end point assets deployed across the organization and maintaining records for the same.
    • c. Performing periodic reviews and ensuring software license compliance
    • Must have functional competencies Basic understanding of client operating systems, personal productivity software Knowledge of ITIL-Service Management
    • Critical personality attributes -
    • Should have a passion for service excellence and managing end-user experience
    • Assertiveness is a critical personality attribute as this requires working with vendors to drive contractual compliances
    • Should have good verbal and written communication skills
    • Possible growth avenues for a successful incumbent -
    • This role will grow into Systems-Manager role for handling larger scope across the various group companies, as well as other operations areas like data networking.
