Associate Manager - Data Remediation

Job Description

• Engaging technology teams to ensure data related deliverables are produced in time and to agreed scope) eg , Data Mapping , cleansing and migration.
• Manage End to end project delivery for CC Data related projects.
• Key point of contact for the Data Remediation related work
• Defining remediation scope for each activity and priority for execution
• Ensuring compliance with Group policies and procedures
• Thorough Work management for the requests received in line with the entry criteria and other data remediation check points
• Ensure appropriate work allocation to the team and EOD controls in place with proper documentation and email circulation to relevant stake holders
• Ensure to maintain timeliness & delivery of different remediation projects on time. Ensure the processes are strictly followed.
• Identify opportunities to Standardize and Automate MIS collation.
• Regular connect with the DQ team
• Good understanding on the SCI related activities to help remediation of respective attributes on the internal systems.
• Hands on Static Maintenance on Credit and SCI to facilitate appropriate remediation approach.
• Supporting UAT/UVTs for new development releases
• Knowledge of SDM to support specific attribute remediation.
• Familiar with KYC/CDD process to come up with remediation actions for eCDD+ related attributes.
• Improve Quality Control functions through frequent periodic dip stick checks
• Attuned to the needs of two audiences Client Coverage and Remediation - the analysis should provide a forward-looking, focused opinion on the likely development of both business and risk elements in the respective remediation activity together with a calibrated articulation of potential mitigants.
• Aware of Credit concepts like BCA submission, ESRA Assessment.
• Able to understand key information to be sourced from Credit documents like BCA etc

Works with existing team members to ensure needs are fulfilled on an ongoing basis. Specifically:

• Work in close coordination with the all internal stakeholders, identify and deliver Project, Process improvements, as applicable.
• Manage the projects to deliver high quality Remediation
• Ensure Review of RCA and Remediation approach while hand over from the DQ team
• Develop working relationship with GAM/RM/Segment heads/ DQ teams in other countries/Regions
• Training the teams on data lineage
• Actively participate along with the team to understand changes in process to make existing process simpler with reduced TAT.

Job Purpose

• Assist in Remediation activities (Projects) for multiple regions/countries to ensure effective delivery on behalf of the Data remediation team for CCIB.
• The purpose of this role is to drive and manage Data remediation BAU activities & Bespoke services for CCIB. Assist the overall management of individual projects
• CC Data remediation aims to provide best in class service without compromising in process discipline and adherence to controls and ensuring Client Data Integrity across systems through faster and efficient execution of data remediation.
• CC Data Remediation team plays a critical role in ensuring the quality of the data maintained within the banks systems are acceptable as defined by Group.
• Support large/ Medium/Small Data migrations by means of clean-up activities and other such initiatives
• To ensure the tracking/reporting of progress relating to BAU Remediation and Bespoke services.
• To instil a strong analytical culture by setting the highest standards and demanding that these are maintained by others.
• Good understanding of the system flow between different internal systems end to end on Workbench/eCDD+/Creditmate/ SCI
