Job Description

    *The Role Responsibilities Department Overview Information Management (IM) is a 100+ member organization under Global Finance Service, focussing on delivery of Management Reporting information to Business and Finance Stakeholders across the organization. Information Management covers the following functions / activities:
    • Infrastructure management and governance
    • Static Data maintenance across performance management platforms
    • Data Release Management and Data Quality Assurance activities
    • Change Management & Governance
    • Policy Implementation and Governance for Access Management
    This function is supported through an integrated technology infrastructure with various stages of operational and data quality assurance, validations and reconciliation functions embedded in the end-to-end process. Domain rich teams work in a collaborative environment to provide group-wide reports and analysis cutting across several dimensions. The Data Quality Management and End-to-End Reconciliation functions ensure accuracy of reporting, while the Change Management team provides expert impact analysis and support for rolling out system enhancements and changes into the integrated Performance Management Reporting Infrastructure.The Information Management team interacts with several stakeholders on a day-to-day basis within the bank that include Business, Finance (Regional and Group Reporting functions) besides Operations and Technology. This team provides services covering all client segments of SCB across 50+ countries, through a centralized and standardized delivery model under Global Process Management framework.Job Purpose
    • Lead the Impact Assessment/Business Analysis and UAT across multiple platforms in the Performance Management Reporting space.
    • Deliver small to medium size change implementations, from definition/initiation to closure.
    • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders including business units, technology, service delivery
    • Ensure Organisation prescribed Change/Project Management methodologies/processes including the value behaviours are adhered to.
    • Develop strong domain content and build best practice (Business Analysis, UAT)
    Impact Assessment/ Business Analysis:
    • Ensure Impact Assessment is completed for all Projects, changes, BAU issues, etc.
    • Functional Appreciation with respect to Assessment, Requirements Drafting and Defining Success Criteria
    • Based on impact assessment, create Functional BRD s / CRs, work with Tech to evaluate FS, and follow through till implementation
    • Defining Functional Test Strategies, Scenarios, clearly draft the UAT Entry Success Criteria, Perform User Acceptance Testing to certify the results mirror the PMI Services
    • Issue Appreciation - Proactively seeking and resolving possible and current issues in consultation with BAU, Business Support.
    • Review the teams BRD / CR for functional completeness and ensure sufficient information is provided to technology during the walk-through as part of appendix or through meeting.
    • Ensure approach of each team member is End-to-End incorporating Service Delivery interests as well for each change project.
    Change Management:
    • Develop well defined, detailed plans within constraints, highlighting key milestones, resources and dependencies.
    • Proactive identification of Risks, maintain and track RAID log (Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies).
    • Execute projects as per the Change/Project Management methodologies/processes prescribed by the organisation/division.
    • Provide timely escalation and reports on project progress, RAID.
    • Ensure all project related documentation is stored as prescribed by the organisation processes.
    • Ensure smooth transition of changes/target state to Operations.
    Key Measures
    • Quality of analysis, documentation, and controls review.
    • Stakeholder feedback on quality of analysis/changes implemented.
    Our Ideal Candidate
    • Finance Professionals or Under-Graduation in Sciences, Engineering + MBA (Finance) from a reputed institution
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Good understanding of banking products / Operations
    • Domain skills on Risk Weighted Assets (RWA) Analysis & Reporting, Client Analytics & Reporting, Management Reporting, P&L, Asset-Liability Management, or other Balance Sheet reporting
    • Strong communication skills
    • Good stakeholder management skills
    • 8 to 10 years of relevant experience
    • Knowledge of and prior experience in working on the relevant platforms (Microstrategy, OBIEE, Hyperion Planning, Hyperion FDMEE, Hyperion Essbase, HFM, PSGL, Oracle, PLSQL, ETL, Data warehouse, BIG Data, OBIEE)
