Job Description

    • The Liquidity and Treasury process team is responsible for partnering with GFORP to identify, assess, manage and mitigate current and emerging risk exposures associated with their activities and operations.
    • Monitors, measures, evaluates and reports on their impact of decisions and controls to management.
    • Consults and provides guidance to business groups on the development, implementation, and monitoring of complex business-specific programs to identify, assess and mitigate risk.
    • Provides a high level of risk management acumen to support the business in designing and implementing risk mitigation strategies, business processes and controls that mitigate risks and address regulatory requirements.
    • Develops and implements risk monitoring and risk reporting processes and controls. Monitors and reports the current and emerging risk and risk appetite.
    • Collaborates internally with Liquidity Unit regarding risk management of business specific risk programs.
    Strategy Operations Risk Management - Leading the team to achieve the below
    • ORF Testing team standardizing the process across countries,
    • Bringing out themes to be tabled at Group Finance FORC,
    • Ensure compliance to Governance requirements for migrations
    • Quality assurance review on the testing,
    • Embedding Computer Assisted Audit techniques / Automation thereby bringing in scale
    Business and Process Challenge and reporting Control Testing
    • Review the testing performed by the team and ensure exceptions if any are highlighted to the process owner
    • Review the residual risk impact and follow up on remediation actions, ensuring appropriate closure of the actions
    • Carry out challenge session/ agreement with Country Operational Risk Officer to arrive at final residual risk ratings
    • Carry out challenge session/ agreement with Group Finance OR Officer to arrive at final residual risk ratings
    • Review the inputs shared to country Risk Forum
    People and Talent
    • Provide continuous on the job training for staff to develop their Risk aware
    • Develop, grow and empower reporting directs with their career plan
    • Ensure mandatory requirements are met by the reporting directs
    Risk Management Ensures the effective implementation and ongoing maintenance of the business control environment through execution of the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) program.Contributes to the development and enhancement of the business control environment through execution of the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) program.Engages in the development and implementation of new controls, action plans and root cause analysis of gaps and assist with the development of corrective action plans. Developing New CST/KCI Evaluating Process universe based on the changes in the process through annual RCSA exerciseEvaluating Gross Risk Based on identified causes/controls or changes in process, defining new CST/KCI Risk Awareness Ensure continuous efforts to increase Operational Risk Awareness across units Identify gaps and arrange for periodic training on compliance and OR for staff of the Business Unit.Train internal teams to log errors in the Operational Risk system on a timely manner. Work with business to identified key risks and assist in mitigating those risk through effective control design and implementation Governance Track open items from Residual risk acceptance and report to governance forums when dueShould have sound understanding of risk management principles and will be responsible for ensuring appropriate control coverage is provided for the assigned business group, be a strong partner for business group to identify risk, control gaps and help to remediate any issuesAbility to grasp complex business issues quickly, recommend solutions, and drive for resolutionsPeriodically review applicability of CST /KCI, appropriateness of sampling methodology and sample size and work with Global process owners Experience with Business continuity management (BCM). Single point of contact for ORF related queries around ORF for the countryUpdate M7 from time to time on account of change in underlying processes and controls and seek approval from Country process owner & ORPerform and maintain a sample coverage documentEnsure compliance to Governance requirements for migrations Our Ideal Candidate Key Qualifications :-

    7. Experience leading both direct/virtual teams and meetings.
