Job Description

    - Responsible for executing a comprehensive audit program including, financial, operational and compliance audit projects and ensuring that satisfactory controls are in place to facilitate compliance with established company policies and safeguard the assets of the Company.- Identify opportunities for increasing profit margins or controlling costs through various audit examinations, and ensure that the Companys assets are adequately protected- Review management controls and operating efficiency to identify opportunities to reduce costs.- Prepare an audit plan for every function and develop schedules to conduct audits every month/ year.- Review compliance of various functions with established company policies and management instructions, and take corrective actions in case of any discrepancies noted.- Verify expenses and set processes for expense management and verification. - Complete all internal audits as per the timelines- Produce audit reports to communicate audit observations, their risk and impact, and recommendations to resolve the deficiencies noted, to management.Skills and Experience Desired :- An accounting or finance degree with a professional audit qualification (Certified Public Accountant OR Chartered Accountant would be preferable)- 4+ years of experience in internal audit in a retail/ manufacturing/ FMCG set up- Very strong understanding of the internal audit, business processes, risk and controls- Strong attention to detail- Highly developed analytical skills- Good time management skills- Good verbal and written communication skills in English- Self -starter, proactive and adaptable,
