Job Description

    • To function as the domain expert in the Banking Products - Core banking, Lending or Credit Cards.
    • To be part of a fitment study to replace existing legacy platform.
    • Identify gaps, understand the functionality and provide a solution.
    • To prepare functional specifications or User Stories for capabilities identified based on business analysis and user requirements.
    • Prepare Definition of Done (DOD) and Acceptance Criteria for a User Story.
    • Act as a scrum team member and participate in applicable scrum ceremonies.
    • To contribute to product management by suggesting functional improvements in the application.
    Business
    • Support for conducting fitment workshops, making product presentations to countries and to work with country businesses in identifying capability requirements.
    • Managing the codes and parameter setup for all country implementations in line with the business requirements.
    • Prepare User Stories, Release Notes and Walkthrough of the same.
    • Supporting the testing phase - System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

    • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
    • Exercise authorities delegated by the Board of Directors and act in accordance with Articles of Association.

    Role Specific Technical Competencies
    • 5 - 10 years of experience in which at least 2 years preferably be in the Banking Industry or in a technology organization managing banking software.
    • Functional & Domain expertise in Corporate or Retail Banking.
    • Experience in banking operations / processes would be useful.
    • Exposure to data migration and databases would be preferred.
    • Experience in a new country implementation or major upgrade of application would be preferred.
    • Good technical skills and experience to databases, query languages, etc.
