Job Description

THE POSITION To achieve the sales objectives for the assigned territory and stretch beyond targets by increasing demand from identified customers (veterinary doctors/para vets/pet shops/Breeders etc.) through effective implementation of marketing activities. Tasks & responsibilities
    • Sales Target Achievement - Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets as assigned by the organization.
    • Payment Recoveries - Implement Company s credit policies and follow up for payments from stockists and distributors.
    • Inventory Management - Monitor the stock level of stockists. Ensure liquidation of near expiry products and slow moving products.
    • Verify and forward the breakage & expiry claims of the stockists as per company policy. (Within limits of authority, as assigned).
    • Customer Calls - Make a predetermined number of effective calls to identified customers for promoting company s products and concepts as per policy decided from time to time. Collect complete data on territory customers, maintain and submit call records in the prescribed format and update customer data base.
    • Efficient Day Planning - Plan day s work with clear objectives for each call, perform pre and post call analysis and visits retailers/whole sellers/ stockists/distributors for feedback.
    • Market Intelligence - Keep track of movement of company products vis- -vis competitor s products and give regular feedback to superiors. Assist the AM to identify appropriate target customers.
    Requirements
    • Education : Bachelors degree, Graduate degree preferably in Veterinary Science/Science/ Pharmacy
    • 2-5 years of experience on Animal Health
    • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and database applications.
    • Ability to travel (may include overnight travel).
    • Should reside in assigned geography or be willing to relocate.
    • Will cover territories of Territory of Mumbai
    • Willingness to travel extensively
    • Candidate must be residing on one of the area mentioned.
