    Job summaryTitle: STRATEGIC STARTUP BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGERLocation: BombayAre you energised by the prospect of working with the highest potential startups in India to help them succeed on, and with, Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud Amazon Internet Services Pvt. Ltd (AISPL) is the local seller of cloud computing services of Amazon referred as Amazon Web Services ( AWS ) which enables customers of all sizes to run their applications on Amazon s industry- leading cloud computing infrastructure. As a Startup Business Development Manager, you will help shape and deliver on a strategy for AWS to build mind share and broad use of its cloud computing platform among startups. The global landscape of early stage startups is vast and complex. You will support the Startup Business Development team in better understanding this landscape, digging deep to bring data and insight to light that will enable the entire team to optimally engage startup teams.Key job responsibilities Identify who to engage within the startup ecosystem to drive affinity for AWS among early stage startups Work directly with venture capitals, corporate venture capitals, private equities and other startup ecosystem partners to ensure their portfolio startup companies are happy long-term AWS customers Develop scalable strategies that allow AWS to deliver appropriate value to startup organizations Recommending, implementing and reporting on AWS s metrics within the startup ecosystem Work closely with the AWS sales team, drive the day-to-day interactions with startups in order to build long-term opportunities Understand and actively utilize Salesforce.com and other internal Amazon systems, 10+ years experience as a CXO or member of the senior management team in a startup, or equivalent experience in enterprise or venture capital roles. General management experience across strategy, product, sales/marketing, operations and finance. Knowledge of core cloud computing concepts, including compute, storage, networking, databases, analytics and higher order services, including serverless, IoT and machine learning. Ability to go deep enough on technical aspects to differentiate among various AWS services and provide insights at the CXO level. Proven ability to build trust and bond at the CXO level of the most promising startups in the world. Demonstrated ability to execute as an individual contributor in the face of ambiguity and limited resources. Experience working effectively and cross-functionally within a large organization. Excellent verbal and written communications skills, at the level of Fortune 500 C-level and board communications. Experience with and knowledge of the VC community/ecosystem. Experience as a startup founder or investor Well networked in the Startup Ecosystem and a regular at key startup events Experience with account management, relationship management, or technical sales MBA or a technical graduate degree
