Job Description

As Project Manager within the CBRM BMO, you will be leading projects and programs of varying complexities for the highly visible, innovative, and complex Fraud Risk Product. You may be involved in multiple initiatives, using the standard Agile framework spanning across the entire project lifecycle. You will build strong relationships and work with the business stakeholders, Product Owners/Area Product Owners, and Agile Technology Teams to ensure successful design, development and deployment of the solution and play an integral role in ensuring that the project is running on time, within budget and in accordance with firm-wide guidelines. Additionally, you will assist in the overall coordination and management of the program including project and program status, reporting and monitoring, and other key project management functions.Responsibilities:As a CBRM Project Manager, you will drive structure and discipline around each initiative using standard project deliverables and frameworks. Specifically, you will:

  • Support the Product Owner or director through maintaining data in the appropriate Agile toolset
  • Establish scope and perform detailed business impact analyses in support of management decisions
  • Define project team roles and responsibilities
  • Establish and document business scope, requirements, and timelines
  • Manage implementation plans and release activity
  • Resolve resource / scheduling conflicts
  • Lead, manage and drive project team meetings and initiatives to full closure
  • Work independently
  • Provide continuous feedback on project status, condition, issues, and function as the overall escalation point to ensure the project tracks to original expectations
Desired Background:
  • Minimum 3-7 years of experience in technology / business project management and or testing environment with the ability to manage multiple projects using the Agile methodology
  • A strong understanding of Agile project methodology and tools (i.e.: JIRA)
  • Project/strategic planning and business background with in depth understanding of assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Demonstrated ability in problem solving and creative thinking
  • Strong teamwork and negotiation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact with all levels of executive management
  • Demonstrated ability with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
  • Previous experience with Retail IT application development a plus
