Marketing Manager - Gaming THE ROLE: In the Gaming marketing role, you ll be right in the thick of things with everything gaming at AMD. You ll get the chance to work with the entire gamer community [Pro & Non Pro], understand their psyche, demographics, all they do and all they need on one hand and on the other hand you get to lay your hands on the latest Gaming Laptops, Discrete Graphics (Radeon RX) and Desktop Processor (Ryzen) solutions and help explain their features and benefits to the end customers. You ll get the chance to own India s PC Gaming World and take AMD s next generation of gaming solutions at the doorstep of all gamers ! THE PERSON: You should be comfortable with PC technologies, know different OEMs and gaming solutions in the market, understand how a gamer thinks and yes of course if you are a gamer yourself that is an added edge. You are eager to learn new things and become comfortable with everything PC gaming. You should be able to understand technologies and be able to communicate features and benefits to a wide range of customers.You should be able to work well within defined timelines and be able to adapt to an always-changing competitive market. Come join a Winning Team! KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop detailed and engaging marketing content and promo plans that reflect AMD s global brand strategy and the regional go-to-market plan.
• Work with top gamers, creators and agencies to create fantastic, localized experiences for gamers in India, with premium production and engaging storytelling.
• Own and run complete online and offline campaigns with agencies, creative teams, and specialist teams to deliver marketing/product goals.
• Run insight generation and market study programs and drill down to clear needs, goals and metrics for the growth of games.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
• 8 to 12 Years of experience in Brand/Gaming Marketing
• Experience with PC gaming and PC solutions
• Detailed understanding of marketing objectives, strategies and tactics and experience executing marketing initiatives with proven positive impact to a business
• Well-organized and detail-oriented, with excellent time management and project prioritization skills
• Outstanding presentation, communication, and writing skills
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: Bachelors degree, MBA could be a plus.
