Job Description

    We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and hardworking candidatewith long term goals to work in our Accounts department as a Senior Manager Accountant at Seven Islands Shipping Limited, Mumbai.Responsibilities
    1. Preparing and passing all month-end provisional entries.
    2. Finalizing and extracting monthly accounts in preparation for monthly MIS.
    3. Finalizing annual accounts of Company for audit purpose.
    4. Guiding the team on GST related matters.
    5. Taking control of GST / Service tax department co-ordination and appeals.
    6. Liaising with GST auditors and managing GST audits.
    7. Liaising with and working with internal auditors to complete quarterly internal audit.
    8. Liaising with and working with statutory auditors (EY) to complete audit.
    9. Liaising with Tax auditors and managing Tax audits.
    10. Working with team and monitoring schedule working and preparation for statutory audit.
    11. Reviewing all foreign remittance documents before bank upload.
    12. Performing final check on RTGS and NEFT sets before they are uploaded to the bank website.
    13. Responding to employee questions related to income tax.
    14. Liaising with RBI in getting remittance permission.
    15. Monitoring and resolving ICFR considerations.
    16. Guiding the team on technical matters related to Excel and ERP.
    17. Finalizing accounts of all associate companies.
    18. Finalizing accounts of promoters and their businesses.
    19. Conflict resolution with the team and between teams.
    Qualifications:Chartered AccountantExperience:10+ years of professional accounting experience (preferably maritime industry)
