Tech / M. Tech in Mech in Engineering with minimum 70% marks. Thorough knowledge of machine design, tolerances, materials and engineering calculations and selection of commercial parts to be installed in the machine, e.g., Pumps, Gear Boxes, Bearings, Heat Treatment reference. Having knowledge of the manufacturing process of parts and able to guide the vendor.Job Profile1) Engineering calculations, independently able to make assembly drawing / troubleshooting. 3D software only solid-works, with knowledge of limits, fits, GD & T, metallurgy and material selection of bought out items like Gear Box, Bearings, Pumps, etc. Workout technical specifications for bought-out items and Support the Purchase department in finalizing the vendor. To guide the juniors to make a thorough meticulous Operating & Maintenance Manual for each machine.2) Carryout Value engineering in standard machines to remain competitive in the market. Design & Develop new products for various applications to increase the product portfolio to increase the top line. Always look for technology up-gradation in existing machines.3) To support Marketing, Production, Quality, Erection& commissioning, Service and Spares teams for various technical matters. Visit customer site if required for troubleshooting.4) Monitoring of day to day progress and solving all the hurdles arising during manufacturing and assembling activities.5) If required, Visit the customer sites for solving the technical problems and for technical discussions for new requirements.6) Basic knowledge of machining process, basic knowledge of calculation and design validation. Knowledge of Machining processes so at the time of designing the parts, costs and practical Manufacturing issues can be considered. Machine assembly knowledge so able to guide the fitters via mentioning drawing and practically as to how the parts are to be assembled and checked.7) Some basic knowledge of Automation like the selection of plc, Sensors, etc. will be an added advantage8) Thorough Knowledge of fabrication tolerances and process of fabrication as all Machines we manufacture involve 50% fabrication of M. S and S.S Where tolerances are close.Good people management skill, able to train/recruit/guide junior engineers to be able to do independent design(Organize functional requirements like, Processes for engineering changes , data security , back up and CAPA(process of documenting corrective action and preventive action so mistakes are not further repeated) , ETC , STORAGE AND DOCUMENT Management.Regards,Sachin8169271752
