The business is part of the Securities Services organisation and is critical to the success of the Custody and Fund Services enterprise, operating primarily in EMEA and the USA.The Depositary Services business oversees that clients funds are managed in accordance with applicable regulations and policies, ultimately acting on behalf of the funds investor base. This involves regular oversight and on-going monitoring of the funds investment activities, governance, appointed service providers including 3rd parties, and other fiduciary activities. The business is in the early stages of a strategic transformation programme, which will introduce fundamental changes to its technology infrastructure, approach to its daily activities, and organizational structure. The initiative is being managed in close partnership with several other areas within the Securities Services organization.The business is recruiting for an Associate in the Process Re-engineering and Change team within Depositary Services Product. This is a front office role that will require pro-active partnership with business specialists, operational support teams, technology groups, vendors, legal & regulatory specialists, risk and control partners, and other project stakeholders to drive change within the business.The opportunity

Role Description

• Identify, Manage and deliver innovative and, or pragmatic solutions to complex projects across the business.
• Operate independently and cross-functionally e.g front office, product development, operations, technology, finance, and work closely with APAC and EMEA partners on global initiatives
• Lead rollout of BPMN 2.0 workflow framework across the business.
• Challenge established ways of working where appropriate
• Re-engineer business processes where required
• Become a trusted driver of change across the business.

The candidate, at minimum should have the following background:

• Experience working within financial services consulting or change in-house e.g business analyst.
• Knowledge of, and practical experience with:
  • Code free tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, Xceptor
  • BPMN 2.0 and or Workflow tools Camunda , Signavio
  • Driving solutions through SDLC with appropriate controls
  • AI/ML/Data science application to enterprise processes including ideation, strategy & implementation/adoption.
  • Data literate : analysis, interpretation and manipulation.
• Proven experience with implementing products/solutions and can demonstrate a detailed understanding of the practical challenges associated with quickly delivering solutions in line with strategic objectives, be that legal, regulatory, security, operational or technological.

The candidate should exemplify the following skills:

• A self-starter but also team-oriented with a demonstrated willingness to get into the weeds of a project without stalling and losing sight of strategic objectives, essentially driving a project from the ideation stage, to execution.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, proven experience driving product and business decisions, and comfort in presenting intricate topics to senior management.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and proven ability to manage complex projects among many stakeholders
• Genuine curiosity to learn new and innovative concepts and the willingness to teach and educate others
• Emotional intelligence balanced with technical skill build close global partnerships with stakeholders and deliver efficiently.
• Quick learner able to synthesise problems and get stuff done quickly independently and efficiently.
• Proactive effort in keeping up with the latest news, technology, and announcements and actively thinking about how such developments may potentially change the world around them
• Understanding and ability to grasp regulations and the impact on how we do business
