Job Description

You will provide civil engineering services to Worley, and its Customers and may provide technical support and supervision within the civil team.Responsibilities

  • Deliver civil engineering services that meet Worley, its customers and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget.
  • Perform civil engineering services such as:
    • Design and preparation of drawings for civil / structural works of assigned projects
    • Carrying out duties and responsibilities of Lead Engineer and coordinate with client and other Disciplines as per project requirements
    • Ensure timely completion of all project Deliverables including specifications, designs, drawings, SOQ s and requisitions for assigned projects.
    • Understand Scope of work and Identify and report changes to project scope;
    • Assist with the preparation of proposals, estimates, budgets and schedules;
    • Provide assistance during procurement, construction and commissioning activities. For example, write requisitions, conduct technical bid evaluations and write purchase orders;
    • Contribute to appropriate studies, analyses and recommend actions;
    • Ensure all documentation within the scope of his responsibility is prepared, checked, reviewed and approved in accordance with the Discipline Work Instructions for the project.
  • Ensure quantities viz. concrete, rebar, structural steel and so forth are estimated & tracked to client s requirements & budget.
  • Maintain almost real time project statistics viz. allotted/consumed workhours, variation notes, productivity, ETC, estimated drawings, issued drawings, staffing, etc.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest developments and technical innovations in civil engineering.
  • If required, assist and support junior personnel within the civil engineering team.
  • Communicate effectively with the civil engineering team and project stakeholders, including the Customer.
  • Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance when required.
, *Preferred:
  • Persons having experience of handling and executing projects like Data centers and other commercial buildings with new as well as Brownfield retrofitting type projects.
  • Experience in Review of Stability reports of Existing buildings and suggest strengthening measures to client
  • Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status in the experience range of 8-12 years.
