Job Description

    The ideal candidate for this role has demonstrated the ability to successfully manage, monitor, and implement large scale enterprise cloud database solutions. The candidate will be a motivated and a proficient professional who enjoys solving problems - in a team environment using established software engineering practices thereby making an impact on a fast-growing business. Responsibilities
    • Organize database systems to guarantee availability.
    • Continuously evaluate & enhance the data models to improve performance and data integrity.
    • Help design effective & scalable database solutions and data models for the business.
    • Identify required database structures by evaluating business operations and applications.
    • Setup monitoring and assist the DevOps team in performing health checks, troubleshooting, and releasing new features.
    • Prepare & maintain database architecture reports for the broader tech team.
    Qualifications / Skillsets :
    • 4-6 years in software development, database management, monitoring, tuning & implementation.
    • Expertise in PostGreSQL and either of MongoDB, Cassandra, Oracle or MS SQL Server.
    • Proficient in database tuning and distributed data replication.
    • Hands-on exposure to Python and Linux scripting.
    • Professional exposure of having configured & implemented AWS RDS & Aurora services using Terraform.
    • Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOPs) constructs & agile scrum methodologies is nice to have.
    • Experience in using technology toolkits such as Jira, Postman, ServiceNow, etc.
    • Strong communication skills (written and oral)
    • Strong sense of attention to detail, accountability, pride in delivering high quality work and willingness to learn.
    • Understanding of financial capital markets and assets such as equities, bonds, ETFs and MFs is a nice to have
    • Degree in B.E or BSc or equivalent
