Job Description

    * The Role Responsibilities Strategy
    • The Bank s Cloud-Value Strategy paves the way to modernisation and consolidating IT infrastructure, workload automation, and pursue next-generation innovative solutions.
    • The Cloud Engineer
      • Has expertise in the design, development, and implementation of applications in the cloud.
      • Is responsible for identifying and selecting appropriate cloud services to design and deploy an application based on given business requirements
      • Is skilled in developing, deploying and debugging cloud applications with extensive knowledge of key features of Cloud Service Providers.
    Business
    • Design and deploy scalable, available and fault-tolerant applications on the Cloud through Infrastructure-as-Code.
    • Design, code and maintain deployment patterns and Infrastructure-as-Code modules.
    • Act as the subject matter expert in coding infrastructure and collaborate with the CIO DevOps and Project teams to ensure timely delivery of infrastructure.
    • Work with the cloud engineering team to identify, maintain and continuously improve module repository by implementing security by design and improving code commits.
    • Participate in all aspects of the infrastructure code development life cycle for AWS and/or Azure solutions, including but not limited to working with the CIO DevOps team to automate application deployments.
    • Work with the CIO DevOps team to code and test migration plans in development/test environments and provide mentorship to develop teams to build cloud competencies.
    • Act as the subject matter expert and work with the CIO DevOps teams in Well-Architected Reviews conducted as part of the Operational Readiness activities.
