Job Description

    Dear,Urgent Opening for Construction EngineerPosition:Construction EngineerEducation: BE/Diploma(full time)Experience: 5 to 20 YearsLocation: MumbaiJOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
    1. Timely execution of the job within given specification and budget for an assigned area.
    2. To ensure the safety at work as per site safety plan.
    3. Execute the job as per ISO procedure and maintain the record for the same.
    4. Ensuring that all-relevant data required for preparing sub contractor bill and client invoice is give to billing engineer in time.
    5. Study of drawings, specifications and BOQ and highlighting discrepancies if any to superiors.
    6. Planning and indenting daily requirement of Labour, construction machinery, materials and formwork.
    7. To resolve any issues hampering progress on day to day basis.
    8. Ensuring that the planned output is achieved from manpower, machinery and materials.
    9. To ensure that the quality of work done is as per specifications and ISO procedures.
    10. Communicating with client engineer for day to day smooth progress of work.
    11. Attend queries of the client engineer.
    12. Attending snag points, if any
    13. Planning and indenting daily requirement of Personal Protective Equipments.
    14. To implement applicable safety guidelines at every stage.
    15. To ensure proper housekeeping and lighting in the assigned area.
    16. Taking care of Company assets like, material, shuttering and machineries.
    17. In case of an accident attend to the injured person and alert safety officer, site admin and Project Manager.
    18. Familiarize and update with the applicable safety manual and practices of the Company.
    19. To ensure that only authorized personnel are allowed to carry out the jobs requiring special skills/certifications.
    20. Execute the job as per ISO procedure and maintain the record for the same.
    21. To ensure that work is carried out as per ISO procedure and records are generated.
    22. To give feedback on sub contractor performance and suggestion for development to seniors.
    23. To vacate NCs and observations in assigned area.
    24. Ensuring timely and correct data to billing dept. for raising subcontractor and client bills.
    25. Generating and submitting joint records to billing department.
    26. Providing inputs to planning engineer for preparing Daily Progress Report.
