Job Description

Job TitleContent Specialist - Instructional Design (Remote)Location(s)PerkinElmer (India Pvt. Ltd.)Title: Content Specialist - Instructional Design Location: RemoteCreates, produces, implements and evaluates content and programs to support the development of the skills and competencies for the OneSource Enterprise Center of Excellence (COE) that is required to effectively achieve their business goals.Collaborate with relevant business units and teams to collate and create the pertinent content: field admins tasks, systems used (SAP and ServiceMax), current work instructions, revising or creating new work instructions as required. Review adherence to processes using KPIs/metrics; quality and compliance guidelines.Uses a variety of educational media and a systematic instructional design methodology to design and develop sophisticated, complex and/or enterprise-wide contentKey Responsibilities

  • Develop a content for all new hires including SAP, Service Max, Web Portal, Spot Fire.
  • Create work instructions as well test the content for accuracy of work instruction.
  • Create step action guides for all reports used, including frequency, process to generate, interpretation, and required actions for outliers.
  • Participate in global standardization initiatives and document standardization, confirming staff compliance to drive consistency and global uniformity.
  • Consults with various teams, leaders and work groups to develop complex, specialized learning content to improve organizational performance.
  • Conducts needs analysis to determine the expectations and gaps for the intended audiences that content is being created
  • Uses formal instructional design methodology to design and develop sophisticated, complex and/or enterprise-wide, performance-based training and educational tools.
  • Simultaneously manages multiple content development projects.
  • Develops assessments/ knowledge checks to determine the effectiveness and ROI of the content developed
  • Works in partnership as appropriate with external vendors, New system implementation to understand the impact of the change on the COE.
  • Develop technology-based content and programs that meet the needs of multiple, diverse audience and integrate effectively into OneSource COE.
  • Works under the direction of quality, compliance and governance group to develop, update and implement enterprise-wide content, tools, templates and reporting requirements.
Basic Qualification:
  • Bachelors Degree with 5 years of experience in a team-based customer service.
  • Previous content development & Instructional Design experience is required.
  • Demonstrated organization and time management skills.
  • Software proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and SAP, Service Max, Web Portal, Spot Fire.
Skillset:
  • Demonstrated ability to consultant and interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to draft/maintain SOP s in support of work processes, meeting Quality System Requirements.
  • Ability to work effectively within a global team.
  • Excellent verbal & written communications skills, fluent business English and country language, other languages a plus.
  • Preferred training experience, utilizing visual and auditory tools to optimize the learning experience.
