Have Knowledge of Legal, Subcontracts of OIL &GAS & Petrochemical ProjectEstablish Standard Procedure, Prepare & Review Project reports. Prepare Project Progress Statistics for management review.4.LocationLTEH-AdVENT, Mumbai5.Level in the organization4th from Head6.Key RelationshipsInternal: With relevant teams of L&T group.External: With respective clients.7.Key ResponsibilitiesManagementActs as Lead for Contracts Management Function. .Quality Performs check of all legal and Contracts documents. Ensures that the required clauses are maintained. Familiar with Indian and International codes and clauses of Contracts. Ensures timely corrective actions for identified non-conformities.Project Read All contracts documents of project and coordinates with other departments.Provides inputs to project team during all phases including interpretation of Contracts. Actively communicates with other departments of interface during Project Cycle. Discusses with Project manager regularly on scope, resources and schedules. Organize and Participates in Technical and progress reviews of projects. Familiar with organization procedures and international standards and codes.Following master schedules for all projects including resource schedules, execution methodologies, SOPS, milestones.Business Development Visits clients, attends seminars/workshops and makes technical presentations.ProposalsReviews scope of work and seeks clarification for ambiguous /incomplete / incorrect information.Monitoring and provide Contractual Input while preparation of tender drawings / specifications & finalization of requirements & estimatesPlanning & SchedulingAssist Project Management team in preparing contractual letters and communications . Provides input to project execution, planning and scheduling.Contracting & ProcurementIdentifying project specific Contract Philosophy and Construction Packages which require subcontracting.Evaluating contracting works, handling negotiation, award & review of contracts as per contract regimesTechnical Review of designs and documentsThoroughly guides the PMT team and reviews all documents, analysis files to ensure contractual accuracy.Supporting ProcessesHuman ResourcesGuides and develops junior staff to fulfill discipline engineering jobs. Helps in team building.9.Team size20010.EducationGraduation in Mechanical Engineering11.Professional experience (yrs.)15 Years of experience in Refinery & Petrochemical Projects, Industrial Projects12.Key Competencies FunctionalMust have:Thoroughly conversant with Contractual obligations and analysis of industries like hydro-carbon, refineries & petrochemicals etc.Conversant with Indian as well as international codes and standards viz. IS, BS/EUROCODE, ASCE and ACI. Must have experience & proficiency in Contracts Management of multi million project Should have knowledge/exposure towards activities in Project.Should have hands on experience in Engineering, Process and Construction Project. Capability to lead complete Contract Management for Specific ProjectHighly skilled in with thorough Engineering, Construction, newer methodologies, planning, inculcating systems, maintaining quality control and quality.Motivating, mentoring and leading talented pool of professionals.
