We are committed to finding new ways to develop value-based and innovative financial solutions for our customers.Job Title: Database Engineer Financial Services - MumbaiPurpose of Job:Responsible for implementing all database related technology solutions for the organizations digital journey with key focus on AWS platform. Assist with migration of existing On-Premises data store to AWS Cloud. Work with internal IT teams and vendors to craft highly scalable, flexible, and resilient database architectures that address our organization business problems. Work towards cost optimization initiatives for all data solutions and assist with product/project specific migrations for all on premise solutions.Job ResponsibilityDevelop complex queries for existing application databases using ANSI standards Develop Procedures, Functions and several DB entities as needed for regular business operations Create, Upgrade, Monitor, Backup & Restore Databases across different environments (UAT, STAGING, LIVE, REPORTING etc.) Support multiple data synchronization and backup strategies depending on application nature Perform DB Maintenance activities for On Premise and AWS instances of Databases Assist with migrating and transforming on-premises database solutions to the cloud Responsible for environment upkeep, database infrastructure monitoring and user provisioningKey Skills:Key Skills: Strong working experience with RDBMS, NoSQL and other variants Preferred Experience working with EDW, Datalakes, Datamarts, Data pipelines etc. Preferred Experience working on multiple AWS specific databases (Aurora, RDS, DynamoDB, DocumentDB, ElastiCache etc.) PreferredMandatory: Strong experience developing SQLs, Stored Procedures, Functions and DB performance tuning across multiple database products Proficient in developing ETL for data migration from multiple data sources Hands-on experience with MySQL, MS SQL Server and AWS specific DB implementationsIndustry: Experience working with Banks/NBFCs/Fintech companies Experience working on On Premise Data centre, AWS Cloud, Data Migration Projects Experience working on Lending, Banking & Payment solutions, Mobile Apps, Web Apps, Peripheral solutions on AWS PreferredGender: OpenExperience: 3 to 5 yearsJob Location: Lower Parel, MumbaiWorking Days: 5 daysQualification: Graduate (Engg.) in IT, CS, from a recognized university Any DB Certification Preferred Certifications / Certificate Courses on AWS PreferredNotice Period: Immediate to 30 daysRelocation candidates: No (since interview are f2f)About Morpheus Consulting:With footprints in Asia, Africa and the Middle East, we offer professional and bespoke contingency and retained search services across a variety of industrial sectors.
