Job Description

    Exciting New Opportunity - CSB Bank is hiringDatabase Administrator in IT & Core Banking.Job Purpose:The Administrator will be responsible for CSB Production and non-prod databases. Installing and maintaining the Oracle database software.The Administrator will be responsible for Improving the database performance and provide DBA services to application development teams, including database design.Functional Responsibilities:
    • Upgradation and migration of oracle databases.
    • Applying oracle Security Patches on Regular activates.
    • Configure High Availability/Disaster recovery Solutions.
    • Regularly monitor the health of databases.
    • Setup Maintenance plans for Backups, database integrity check, Rebuild index and update statistics.
    • Execute all changes of DBschema and maintain controlled development database environment.
    • knowledge on application servers like web logic and web sphere.
    • Raise Oracle SR and follow up on regular intervals.
    • work on performance tuning like creating missing indexes and checking the bad plan.
    • Experience in supporting environments consisting PROD-UAT for oracle databases.
    • Expert of Oracle database internal.
    • Good Understanding and hands-on performance Tuning issues.
    • Knowledge of scripting languages like shell.
    • Create RCA Document after analyzing/fixing the issues.
    • Maintain an up-to-date and in-depth knowledge of new Oracle Databases release.
    • experience in Dataguard for data security.
    • Preformed DR Drill activites as part of BCP Plans.
    • Database cloning.
    • Prefered Oracle certification.
    • Strong Oracle 12c, 11g and DBA experience including Database capacity planning and performance tuning.
    • Scripting experience in either Bash or Python. is preferred.
    • Experience in PL/SQL code development .
    Educational Qualification: B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech in CS, IT /MCA
