  • Develop the strategic direction and roadmap for the application, aligning with Business Strategy, ITO Strategy and investment priorities.
  • Leverage technology to streamline processes, enhance productivity, reduce risk and improve controls in high quality software solutions delivery
Business
  • Manage and responsible for the delivery of all projects as per AED deliverables and milestones
  • Manage and track delivery within budget as per AED
  • Senior Business stakeholder Management
  • Ensure production stability of the managed application
  • Collaboration with PSS and optimise support FTE headcount / improve KT between teams
Processes
  • Ensure project is implemented on time, within budget and with quality.
  • Ensure technology deployment in new project is fully meeting group level compliance and local regulatory requirement.
  • Continuously improve the project quality and reduce project implementation cost
  • Contribute idea on how to use technology to help business drive the revenue target.
  • Fulfilled audit and risk management requirement of the project undertaken.
People and Talent
  • Provide leadership, management and coaching to the team to ensure they are highly engaged and performing to their potential.
  • Promote and embed a culture of openness, trust and risk awareness, where ethical, legal, regulatory and policy compliant conduct is the norm.
  • Lead through example and build appropriate culture and values.
  • Encourage learning and development to uplift team skillset and capability
  • Ensure job objectives and expectations are clearly defined and periodical feedback are provided to the team

Risk Management
  • Ensure that exposure to each form of technology risk in projects is understood and managed.
  • Effective management of all Technology risks in projects by ensuring issues, risks and interdependencies are identified, managed and resolved
Governance
  • Maintain awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.

  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group s Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank.
