Job Description

  • Elicit requirements from stakeholders and work with surrounding systems/application teams to ensure delivery is seamless
  • Direct the squad members for the successful implementation of the elicited requirements manage the day to day activities of developers, business analysts and the quality assurance analysts so that the end deliverable meets the functional spec and of highest technical standard
  • Liaise with technical experts outside the squad to make sure the design is future-proof, efficient and flexible
  • Liaise with PSS stakeholders to manage a seamless delivery and release.
  • Manage stakeholders to drive an efficient product roadmap
  • Liaise with other delivery leads within CDU and with other systems in the eco system to promote seamless project deliveries
  • Take a risk based approach to schedule deliveries and to maintain good relationship with PSS and Ops.
  • Manage conflicting priorities with poise and panache.
  • Coordinate with cross discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
  • Provide periodic project updates to project working group and steering committees
  • Preparing status reports by gathering, analysing and summarizing relevant information.
Our Ideal CandidateQualifications & Skills
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to understand and interact with technical teams on functional and non-functional requirements
  • Proven delivery track record as Senior Business Analyst within financial services industry in complex systems landscapes with multiple stakeholders
  • Able to produce design and architecture documentation and drive the solutioning work.
  • Fluent with JIRA, Confluence, Visio, PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of the Trade Processing and Lifecycle Front-to-back (Pricing, Execution, Risk Management, Validation, Life-cycling, Reporting/Reconciliations, Settlement, Confirmations, Accounting).
Desirable but not Essential
  • Agile/ Scrum experience preferred
  • Delivery experience in implementing financial services sector systems.
  • Exposure to Xceptor and Thunderhead systems
  • Understanding of trade flow and confirmations workflow
