Job Description

    Dear Candidate,Greetings of the day!We are Hiring forDeputy BuyerOverview:In order to achieve the above the personexecutes buying strategies of a single brand (independently) in the category handledthrough:Ensures that merchandising team released the PO (Purchase Order) on time, to maintain OTIF (On Time In Fulfillment).Undertakes timely release of ITP (Intent to Purchase) with accurate.Conducts vendor meetings, if required seeks approval from the seniors on the decision points. During critical times, the seniors assist in vendor meetings to negotiate with the vendor.Assists the seniors in phasing / delivery of orders (season-wise) as per the OTB budget.Ensures timely (as per the critical path) Range Presentation to seniors.Researches on current fashion via online hits on bench marked brand, surveys and fashion gatherings (Teams with no design support).Provides correct product information for the month to Visual Merchandising team to help them plan & build the wall & fixture and store space.Updates the range planner / PLM for the season on a continuous basis.Takes the initiative to undertake sampling & researching to provide inputs to develop and innovate new products as per the story / theme / concept (Teams with no design support).Executes the sampling process as per the critical path, tech packs & trends given.Follows up with vendors on proper fit checks & sealing of samples.Visits Westside stores/Comp Shops to ensure customer delight, to understand new trends & competitors product mix.Regards,HR Team
