Job Description

    Responsibilities & Duties will include,
    • Oversee & Supervise Design Projects for Deepa Gurnani and other Private Label Clients
    • Establish creative strategy, budgets & schedules for all design projects
    • Manage Design Team - Ensure the design team, works closely with the Artisans so that they create samples as per the theme selected for specific collections.
    • Generate concepts, style and direct photo shoots.
    • Mentor and supervise creative team while challenging & introducing new & innovative methods of creative execution.
    • Motivate & Influence creative team to constantly strive for excellence
    • Define group direction & goals
    • Have a constant dialogue about brand positioning to ensure that the team never loses focus or sight of company goal
    • Participate in Client Meetings
    • Review Client Feedback
    • Meeting business goals and finding solutions to pain points whilst simultaneously adhering to the company branding and marketing strategies.
    • Analyze Data
    • Collaborate with Sales & Marketing
    • Convey design concepts to various internal and external teams.
    • Research Market Trends- remain up-to-date with current fashion trends.
    • Manage design processes to ensure that all deadlines are met
    Qualifications/ Skills:
    • A Design Degree, with excellent grades, from a reputed institute.
    • An affinity for products that are hand made
    • An expert at Graphic Design
    • Strong leadership qualities
    • Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
    • Excellent organizational abilities
    • Good interpersonal skills
    • Meticulous attention to detail
    • Computer literate
    • Proactive nature
