We are hiring for HVAC Design ManagerLocation - Andheri East, MumbaiCURRENT DESIGNATION : Asst. Design Manager/ Sr. Design Engineer (HVAC).DEPARTMENT : HVAC DESIGN & TENDORMin EXPERIENCE : 5 to 10 yearsLOCATION : MUMBAI - Andheri (E).NEXT GROWTH LEVEL : SR. DESIGN MGR DESIGN HEAD.MANDATORY Skills : AUTOCADJOB DUTIES (JD)1) Making detailed Team plan for year in line with organization business plan / Sales Pipeline / Job in Hand.2) Guiding the team to provide required support to sales (Heat Load, Scheme Proposal, Qty Estimation, Site Survey if required) & to project team (Detailed Drawings, Qty. Variation, Site Surve if required & as built drawings) as per project priority.3) Guiding Team on selection of equipment/ system proposing with due pros & cons of the system in full respect (Capex, Opex &Life Cycle)4) Maintaining the updated all Projects status (Prospect, Under Execution & As Built)5) Maintaining PR with the Customers (Direct & Indirect, influencers like HVAC Consultants, PMC, Architects & Interior Designers)6) Providing the required MIS to Management (Branch Wise Project Details; No. of Projects Worked on; No. of Projects as Built; No. of projects Qty. Estimation)7) Manpower Training & Skill development.8) Maintaining the Drawing Quality.9) Keeping update with the OEMs for product details, its design/ selection.10) Educating team to optimize design which yields less wastage / sweet points in terms of OEM pricing & consuming in stock material.11) Studying the received drawings from the customer / with tender & pointing out any challenges foreseen12) Site visit for verifying actual site conditions and site dimensions wherever Necessary.13) Proficiently doing Heat Load calculation & psychometric analysis, preparation of air flow diagram, P&ID of chilled water system, ducting design and layouts.14) Preparation of datasheet of Air handling units, Chiller plant, Fans, Cooling Towers, etc.15) Equipment Design & selection (Blower, AHU, Riser, and Cooling Coil, etc), Designing and sizing of HVAC equipment like AHU, Ducting, and Chilled & Condenser water piping, Chillers, Pumps, Cooling Tower, Heater & Distribution system.16) Piping calculations, Bill of Quantity (BOQ) & Technical Specification preparations, energy consumption analysis of various HVAC equipments based on vendor offers, handling site queries, vendor drawing review & approval.17) Equipment energy calculation with payback period.18) Prepare detail engineering drawings & documents.19) Submit the same to project dept for approval in case of any changes required w.r.to. Sales stage design data.20) Highlighting any ambiguities found during detailed designing with respect to the sales BOQ.21) Prepare Variance BOQ accordingly.22) Specific approvals on RAL codes, unique specifications as per URS etc.23) Assigning and checking all work assigned to drafting team.24) Giving all design calculation to drafting team required for drawing preparations.25) Check all the drawings for technical aspects and aesthetics of document.26) Ensuring of timely submittals of all drawings as per the time line of projects.27) Indenting material as per approved drawings with proper backup of the quantification for future reference of project teams.28) Timely submittal of project documentation (DQ) with necessary drawings, T.C, Manuals etc.29) Maintain proper record of all above work in proper format on for future reference both in digital and physical. All GFC drawings documents copy to be maintained in office.30) In case of any site level changes details provided by PM, update all the drawings and documents accordingly.31) Product submittals for approval and vendor technical qualification in coordination with purchase team.32) Weekly report project wise on status of drawing, product submittals and timelines.33) Coordinate project Activities in consultation with project manager & team.34) Assist Sales & Estimation dept in case of any specific technical query or working for project at sales stage.35) Value engineering for savings on project cost36) Knowledge of Indian and international codes of practice, ASHRAE, SMACNA, BIS, BS, etc. an advantage.37) Training, grooming & mentoring junior team members.38) Supervise, manage & lead a design team within the mechanical discipline and takes responsibility for their portion of the disciplines scope, schedule and budgetKEY REQUIREMENTS:1) Min of BE (MECHANICAL).2) ADVANCE knowledge & Experience in AUTOCAD.3) Proficient in Ms. Office.4) Should be well-versed in all functions and controls of Advance Excel for data validation.5) Should be logically sound with strong analytical and creative skills.6) Good verbal and written communication skills.ADDED ADVANTAGE FOR THOSE WHO ALSO KNOW: REVIT, BIM, 3D.Kindly revert with your updated resume, if interested
