Our mission is to provide stable and scalable infrastructure and technology solutions for entire Wealth Management. We serve as a centralized interface through which Wealth Management teams can obtain infrastructure solutions and project support by working closely with application owners throughout the SDLC process to ensure that established products/services are leveraged and new requirements are fulfilled.Position Overview: Experienced developer with DevOps Experience role with responsibilities in providing horizontal services to all Wealth Management Technology Development teams in the areas of DevOps Integration, Platform, Data and Cloud Engineering, Automation, Deployment Operations in the areas of DevOps and SDLC processes for Distributed Technologies.The right candidate has (Responsibilities); Work as a Solution Developer as part of a cross-functional team, participate in the design, development, and support of Wealth Managements business applications. Ensure that solutions deployed have technical integrity, stability, and are scalable design patterns within Morgan Stanley s infrastructure frameworks like Webfarm (Tomcat/Apache), Windeploy (IIS) , Zapp (Scheduling and Jetty) and Treadmill (Containers) Work will require active collaboration with developers seasoned in using web technologies used within Morgan Stanley s internal tooling involving technologies categorized as Private Cloud or On-Prem solutions. Responsible for conducting high-level architecture and design reviews that translate into business application specific solutions adhering to technical standards, security architecture best practices and performance requirements. When needed provider reevaluate designs and suggest alternatives. Create new and modify existing complex infrastructure configuration, requires developing deep understanding of application specific implementations of systems like Load Balancers, Global Traffic Managers, Firewalls, Proxy, LDAP, VCS Clutsters, Kafka, Service discovery using Zookeeper or SLR. Increase adoption of Strategic Initiatives by providing support to developers on framework developed using DevOps methodologies, Infra-as-Code, Configuration externalization. Support developers by gaining expertize on internal offerings involving technologies docker, dot net core, CICD framework involving Jenkins Teamcity, Maven/Gradle Troubleshoot and debugging developer facing self-serve automation tools involving SOAP services/ clients & RESTFul Services/Client using automated Spring batch loaders developed in Java 8 that leverage concurrency concepts like Scheduled Executor Services, Thread Pools, Fork &Join Pools. Improve efficiencies by contributing towards common automation repository consist of module for Ansible developed using Python and web API s using Flask framework., Required Experience : 3 to 5 yrsSkill Set Primary skills Deep proficiency in application development using technologies like dot net core, Java, python, SQL Server and Javascript, cloud and messaging technologies. Deep proficiency in Linux, Windows web and application system architectures - including Tomcat, IIS, WebSphere and SQL Server Proactively take initiative and demonstrates a high level of accountability. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. This role involves working on fast paced complex engineering and development projects that requires a high degree of analytical skills; the ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong business and service acumen.Good to have skillsFamiliarity in Azure services architectures, platform capabilities and operating models Familiarity with DevOps/Agile tools like Ansible, Cloudify, JIRA Boards, TeamCity, Jenkins, GIT-HUB and Azure DevOps Pipelines Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes / Openshift
