Job Description

    DGM - IT ProcurementReports To : Sr. GM - IT procurement / Partner Collaboration.Job Overview:The DGM -IT Procurement Lead will be a senior member of the IT Organization and will lead end to end procurement and supply chain management for GCO, develop and implement procurement strategy as per the business objectives, negotiate commercial terms to deliver best value solutions and measure/report the value creation, implement best practices and supplier performance management.Responsibilities and Duties:- Lead Procurement considering cost prudence, budget adherence, cost savings through prompt, efficient and cost-effective procurement of the right quality products/ services - Execute full sourcing from supplier selection, RFP/Bid review, negotiation, contract execution - negotiate purchase agreements and contracts and ensure procurement remains within the approved budget focusing on quality, delivery, cost containment and process improvement- Supports as necessary, contractual terms and conditions for review by legal, leveraging latest thinking in contracting methods to minimize risk and maximize advantage- Perform risk management for contracts and agreements- Identify and shortlist vendors for services required across functions like Network, Data Centre, IT, HSSE, HR etc. based on various norms including HSSE guidelines- IT Procurement and Contracts - Hardware, System (ERP, Billing and Other systems and licenses, CRs) and Services (storages, cloud, infrastructure, outsourcing etc.)- Ensure strict compliance with policy, regulations and standards and delegations of authorityQualifications :- Education level - B.E./ MBA - Experience in IT / Network Procurement and Supply Chain Management.- Specific skills. - Understanding business strategies, performance plans, goals and objectives, and linkage to procurement strategies, goals and objectives. Procurement Strategies, Negotiation Skills, Understanding of IT /Digital technologies, Policy/ Process Management / improvement, Relationship Management, collaboration and teamwork.,
