Job Description

Blis is seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking team player to join as a Digital Designer.

The person will combine their creativity and technical skills across a variety of digital advertising campaigns, working closely with the wider client facing teams across the APAC region - Sales & Client Services - to offer best in class creative solutions. This role will report into the Head of Creative Services and the Senior Digital Designer based in Mumbai, with plenty of scope to gain exposure to all aspects of the Blis business. The successful candidate should be prepared to get involved in a wide variety of tasks many of which will need to be completed to strict deadlines. You will be adept with the various Adobe software - Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, InDesign - which will require a well organised, motivated and forward thinking candidate who is keen to learn different technologies and 3rd party vendor platforms as well as keeping at the forefront of new formats and creative ideas.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Tasks include designing & building rich media campaigns, producing graphics & content, editing videos, creating static & animated mock ups etc
  • Play an active role in brainstorming and developing ideas to bring them to life. You will demonstrate an appetite to seek new technology and data driven ideas.
  • You will develop campaigns competently in accordance to clients tone of voice, brand positioning and channel appropriateness.
  • Keep up to date with creative formats and capabilities across the digital landscape.
  • As well as working as a Digital Designer, you will work as a true partner with other departments across the business, such as Sales, Client Services, Marketing, as well as teaming up from time to time on projects with other Designers within the department.
  • Technical trouble-shooting / problem solving to ensure creative works as per client brief.

Skills and Experience:

  • You ll have experience at listening to and questioning client briefs in order to ensure the potential of an opportunity is spotted and maximised.
  • Working knowledge of HTML5, Javascript preferable.
  • Strong visual design principles within the digital arena.
  • Have a good understanding of the digital ad ecosystem.
  • Ideally a knowledge of mobile rich media vendors as you will using Celtra on a daily basis (Training will be provided if necessary)
  • Ability to convert Adobe photoshop mock ups to digital creative.
  • Basic understanding of animation principals would be advantageous.
  • Fluent use of Adobe Photoshop and a good understanding of the Adobe creative Suite.
  • Minimum 1 year in a creative role (ideally in a media company).
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to liaise with key stakeholders.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects.
  • This role will be working with our APAC region and therefore will require you to work the hours to reflect this.
  • Please note at present this role will involve working from home until we are able to return to an office.
