HR s services allow the Firm to deliver best-in-class services for our clients and successful, rewarding careers for our employees.Job ProfileAs a key member of the India Human Resources, this position will report to the Head HRBP and collaborate with regional / global HR colleagues and Business ManagersThe person would be responsible for providing full HR support to managers and employees in the assigned client groups. This includes providing coaching and direction regarding policies, performance management, progressive discipline, compensation / promotion conversations, and Talent Management and HR initiatives.Primary ResponsibilitiesUnderstand Strategic Business Objectives and collaborate with Business Units to develop people strategies in order to meet the Talent Management needs of assigned Function(s)Act as internal consultant to all levels of management in order to resolve complex Human Resources issues, including disciplinary actions, performance management and conflict resolutionIndependently engage with employees across Business Units to successfully monitor the pulse of employees, pre-empt risks, and put proactive measures to ensure high levels of engagementReview and analyse business data to identify trends and enable better quality decision makingPartner and support teams with in the HR Division - Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Diversity & Inclusion, Operational Risk, Compensation & Benefits to execute on their respective objectivesCollaborate with Business Units to drive change management and transformational initiatives. Provide support, guidance, coaching and training to managersParticipate in cross-functional teams for the development and implementation of HR initiativesSkills requiredPossess excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with a proven ability to build solid relationships with global, regional and local stakeholdersStrong team player and at the same time takes ownership to drive strategic objectivesShould be able to not only conceptualise and drive initiatives but also be willing to get into detailsShould be able to optimally work with structures as well as navigate through ambiguitySound judgement on complex, confidential and sensitive mattersShould have relevant knowledge of Labour Laws, Compliance and RegulationsProven project management experience to drive initiatives and take them to logical conclusionAdaptable and creative approach to address issues and solve problem, *ExperienceBachelor s Degree10+ years in Human ResourcesBusiness Partner experience in Banking and Financial Services preferredMorgan Stanley is an equal opportunities employer.
