Job Description

The Forensic Technology of FTI Consulting is seeking to hire a Director, Business Development to join its Mumbai Office, which focuses on electronic discovery, diagnostics, digital forensics, software asset management, Cyber, Digital transformation, Automation, document review and information governance services Electronic discovery is the management of electronic data as evidence in legal proceedings and document review is the review of that data for content.The Director, Business Development will be tasked with identifying, pursuing and closing sales for all FTI s product offerings and technology services within the law firms and corporate market. This includes on-demand hosted software and services, and packaged technology service offerings. The ideal candidate familiar with consultative sales of enterprise (preferably e-discovery) solutions with an emphasis on sales or consulting directly to key stakeholders in private practice and corporates alike.The Director, Business Development will receive a sales target for a defined region, territory or target account list and will be expected to meet or exceed quarterly and yearly revenue projections. The Director, Business Development should have excellent grip on the market with respect to trends, demand, competition with a strong commercial acumen,What You ll Do

  • Consistently qualify, generate, and execute on opportunities that provide profitable revenue to FTI.
  • Consistently build an effective pipeline and execute on each phase of the sales process.
  • Incorporate knowledge of our products and services, the customer, and key competitors into the sales process and use that knowledge to uncover customer needs and create value-based solutions.
  • Work effectively as a team member and facilitate the sales opportunity by providing direction and orchestrating the internal and external resources needed to effectively manage the sales process.
  • Work on business proposals and participate in discussions with existing and prospective clients to generate business opportunities
  • Accurately forecast the business on a consistent basis.
  • Leverage

  • Accountable for identifying and working with key stakeholders to win in the work.
  • Plan and execute sales, account growth and marketing initiatives
How You ll Grow:With the explosive growth of emerging tech, you will be part of the International Team and plays a key role in taking the business to next level.Basic Qualifications:
  • Believes in collaborating and teaming
  • Polished executive presence with ability to interact with senior corporate lawyers and business directors as a consultative partner, not a vendor
  • Comfortable and fluent with legal tech, risk tech, emerging technologies and terminologies
  • Broad industry overview mainly around Law, Professional Services, financial services, pharma, ITeS, Media & Entertainment, Retail, CPG and Manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of document review platforms such as Relativity, Ringtail would be advantageous.
  • Technically savvy with a strong proficiency in Salesforce.com , Microsoft Windows and related software, especially Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ability to manage time and prioritise tasks effectively
  • Ability to work objectively and work effectively as part of a team
  • Result-oriented with ability to work in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple tasks through completion
  • Flexible with working hours, travel and has the ability to work in a cross-functional team
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to clearly present solution and service information to senior management
Skills:
  • Prior success selling software and/or technology consultancy services to the corporate and law firm market
  • Familiar in working with firm s management team to drive sales as per the targets given in the focused segments/solutions/industry
  • Familiar with sales and marketing practices / tools devising sales and growth strategies, sales plans, opportunity/pipeline building, account planning (sponsors and relationship maps), sales MIS and reporting etc.
  • CRM system ( Salesforce.com ) for customer creation, performing conflict checks, creating and tracking pursuits/initiatives.
