Job Description

* Director - Digital Consulting Director- Digital Consulting is a crucial role that helps in building / creating the consulting framework, delivering end-to end digital consulting engagements and ensuring Worley Digital generates significant revenue stream through these engagements. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of industrial automation, Industry 4.0 framework, background of EPCM and flair for customer engagement. Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business stakeholders to confirm understanding of business drivers and strategy
  • Develop digital consulting practice for Industry 4.0
  • Interact with external customers to deliver digital solutions and consulting engagements
  • Manage client engagements
  • Analyze the current technology environment to detect critical deficiencies and collaborate with the technology teams and the functional experts to recommend solutions for improvement
  • Interact with CXOs and other leadership teams to build end-to-end solution plans in the form of roadmaps that define the future state solution, scope of solution initiatives, and solution delivery sequencing.
  • Participate in the presales engagements and help creating digital consulting material for the sales team
  • Establish and foster strong relationships with a broad audience of customers, service providers, vendors, partners, peers and leadership
  • Collaborates with cross functional peers to establish and maintain organizational best practices, processes and methodologies
  • Remains current on emerging technologies and conducts independent research to support business needs and requirements
Skills and Experience:
  • Qualification:
    • Engineering Graduate with MBA
  • Experience:
    • 20+ Years of experience in engineering automation, EPCM project execution, digital consulting, client interfacing, solution execution having developed and deployed large solutions.
  • Skills:
    • Experience in managing large client engagements for digital consulting that leverage digital technologies to solve business problems in the areas of information management systems (IMS), Industrial automation, Reliability based maintenance (RBM), Operations management etc.
    • Successful track record of driving pre-sales support for the digital consulting engagements
    • Ability to interact with CXOs from the client side and engage them for specific business outcomes
    • Experience in performing technical assessment of current state of legacy systems and business processes
    • Experience in building digital consulting practice to engage external customers
    • Track record of delivering digital solutions on cloud-based infrastructure through various project delivery and development methodologies
    • Expertise in functional and technical solution consulting, executing technical deep-dives and conducting workshops involving CXOs from client side
    • Experience and deep understanding of driving client engagement from RFP to solution delivery
    • Strong experience in client interfacing and building client relationship
    • Very strong interpersonal skills
    • Strong communication, documentation and presentation skills
