  • Deliver Global FCC, Conduct & Compliance Framework Management and FCC Outreach in accordance with the strategy and priorities of the Global Head of FCC, Conduct & Compliance Framework.
  • Support Global FCC, Conduct & Compliance Framework and FCC Outreach Programme Manager in delivery of the Program
  • Lead FCC Information Sharing partnerships advocacy and coordination
  • Propose changes to the FCC Outreach strategy and priorities to the Global Head of FCC, Conduct & Compliance Framework for their consideration
  • Support the owners in FCC Outreach priority areas to define their Outreach plans
  • Identify areas for complementary messaging and communication synergy between FCC Outreach activities and Group Campaign Strategy and where appropriate with the wider firm strategy
  • Lead Programme wide initiatives
  • Lead Programme management project work
Business
  • Support the Group CEO, Board, Global Head of FCC, Conduct & Compliance Framework and deliver FCC-related messages to external partners including clients
  • Represent the firm in external engagement on FCC Outreach priority areas, where delegated by the Global Head of FCC, Conduct & Compliance Framework.
  • Partner with external stakeholders to deliver the FCC Outreach priorities
  • Lead Group-level external communications on FCC Outreach priorities; own the Fighting Financial Crime microsite and provide editorial oversight for stakeholder contributions
  • Author content on FCC Outreach priority areas for external use and publication
  • Represent FCC Outreach in firmwide campaigns and promote inclusion of FCC priorities
  • Coordinate input from FCC teams in response to external consultations
  • Drive initiatives to improve Programme Management
  • Coordinate wider function in support of Programme Management initiatives.
Risk Management
  • Author reporting for the BFCRC, GRRC, and other governance bodies on FCC Program Management & Outreach priorities, for sign-off by the Global Head of FCC, Conduct & Compliance Framework
  • Monitor and brief Global Head of FCC, Conduct & Compliance Framework and MT on key external developments in FCC Outreach priority areas
  • Represent FCC in internal meetings relevant to FCC Outreach priority areas and inform the Global Head of FCC, Conduct & Compliance Framework. of key updates
  • Lead and coordinate internal engagement with teams relevant to FCC Outreach priority areas (e.g. Sustainability)
  • Consider and identify key risks to the function and to Programme Management.
Governance
  • Report on delivery (past and planned) for FCC Outreach priority areas
  • Lead stakeholders to define key messages in Outreach priority areas to achieve consistency
  • Convene internal thematic groups to share knowledge and best practices
  • Build an awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework in which the firm operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role
Regulatory & Business Conduct
  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group s Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
  • Lead the FCC Outreach to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank s Conduct Principles.
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
Our Ideal Candidate
  • Broad understanding of the financial services sector and financial products/services
  • Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering, Financial Crime Compliance or Risk (qualification preferred e.g. ACAMS)
  • Experience and/or qualification in project management desirable
