Job Description

    ESG ResearchJob Code :JPC - 1417Job ResponsibilitiesPrimary responsibility will be to review and analyze data sourced through internal & external vendors and apply a rules-based methodology to determine ratings for companies across the globe based on their ESG performance. As a sectorspecialist in Insurance OR BFSI domain (non-banks) OR Healthcare OR Materials (Metal & Mining, Chemicals) sector/s, youwill be responsible for tracking and monitoring developments and trends in the sectors and assessing the ESG impact ofthose on companies in the sector and provide ESG rating to the companies.Key responsibilities includeDeliver high-quality ESG research for companies in the clients global coverage on a timely basis Ensure that the company models capture the risk and opportunities of the sector Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the rating model Undertake a high-level review of the data to strengthen the analysis Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors in enhancing the quality of the data source Contribute to implementing processes critical for ensuring operational stability Writing the company profilesJob RequirementsTo succeed in this position, you must: MBA-Finance from tier-I/ II institutes/ CA, CFA (US) preferred Minimum of 3+ yrs of experience in either of the sectors mentioned above is a must- Broad understanding of the different business activities in the sector and business model employed- Risks & opportunities that the companies in these industries/ sectors are exposed to- Sense of the trends & developments in the sector, long-term outlook Strong analytical ability Ability to articulate and present viewpoints Writing experience is a must Strong oral & written communication skills
