This in turn helps us to provide better support to our broad client base.The Role ResponsibilitiesIt is expected that the responsibilities of the role will include a mix of the those identified below, and others as required as the Programme evolves:

  • Programme and project managing an agreed scope of Interbank offered Rate (IBOR)-related work, from scope clarification, planning, resourcing, risk, issues, assumptions and dependencies management, financial and third-party vendor management, system updating (e.g. Clarity, Confluence or JIRA), assisting multiple Central Team, Business or Function workstreams
  • Managing the client contract digitisation, review, analysis and reporting activities, particularly focused on Corporate, Commercial & Institutional Banking (CCIB) lending and derivatives contracts, by working with an external third party provider who is operating a managed service for the Bank
  • Managing the end-to-end client engagement and contract remediation activities from initial client outreach through to active transition of all in-scope clients and their contracts from those referencing IBORs to alternative rates, such as Risk-Free Rates (RFRs)
  • Reporting, both internal (e.g. Group Internal Audit, Quarterly Performance Reviews, Monthly Reviews, Retrospectives, Programme Steering Committees, Project Steering Committees, Project Working Groups, Non-Financial Risk Committees, etc) and external (e.g. Regulatory bodies [e.g. Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA), Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) and Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS)], external Audit, etc)
  • Assisting various Central, Business and/or Function workstreams (e.g. Agency, Conduct & Financial Crime Compliance, Consumer, Private & Business Banking, Financial Markets, Legal, Lending, Transaction Banking, Treasury, etc), to deliver their capability development agendas and foundations, such as training people, enhancing systems, improving client documentation, accessing relevant data, etc
  • Assisting various Central, Business and/or Function workstreams (e.g. Agency, Consumer, Private & Business Banking, Financial Markets, Lending, Transaction Banking, etc), to deliver their client remediation agendas, including document digitisation, client cohort scoping and execution strategy development, client engagement and follow-up contract remediation, case closure activities, progress reporting, escalation and follow-up, etc
  • Advising stakeholders and teams across the Bank on our IBOR obligations, the impact of our IBOR obligations on their Businesses, Functions or their elements of the Programme agenda, utilising data and insights
  • Driving engagement with and management of senior stakeholders, committees and communities across the Bank (e.g. from the wider Programme, Business and Functions (including Group Internal Audit) to achieve desired outcomes.
Our Ideal Candidate
  • Degree qualified, preferably Business or Information Technology-related, with a Masters, for example MBA, being of benefit too
  • 10 Years+ required experience in Digitization ,CCIB Products and different contracts ,CCIB Buisness understanding.
  • Programme or project management qualification, such as PMP or Scrum
  • Working knowledge of the Bank s various project management and governance standards
  • Project management system experience, such as in Clarity, Confluence and JIRA
  • Advanced level of Microsoft Office product suite use.
