Job Description

    As an experienced Data Engineering lead, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing a strategic data platform on AWS to support product development of market differentiating capabilities for the JPM Wealth Management business. The position is ideal for an individual who has proven track records in leading and guiding data engineering teams, software design and programming, data modeling and modern engineering practices. You will also have close collaborations with technical partners across the organization, navigating complexity to provide optimal, scalable, and resilient end to end platform solutions. Required Skills
    • AWS certification or equivalent in database and data analytics speciality
    • Experience implementing batch, micro-batch and real time data pipeline solutions with AWS EMR, Databricks, Snowflake or equivalent
    • Working experiences of software development on AWS
    • Strong sense of ownership of business-critical and complex applications.
    • Strong hands-on working experience on core Java or PySpark
    • Good understanding of SQL & NoSQL databases and Linux/Unix
    • Performance tuning skills
    • Hands-on experiences on Agile and CI-CD process
    • Motivating and managing data engineers to deliver their best
    • Test-Driven-Development
    Desired Skills
    • Data engineering or ETL data pipeline development
    • Big-data development
    • Autosys or Control-M scheduler
    • MQ, Kafka, Kinesis or Streaming real time data development
