Job Description

No limits, no bordersPURPOSE OF THE ROLE: The position will cater to the increasing requests for patent check (Pre-screening/FTO/Landscape/Combination Portfolio) from different regions and will assist the team to perform thorough patent check for advancing projects that are bound by strict timelines.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Freedom to Operate Analysis: Patent searches using various databases,
  • Preparation of Patent Landscape,
  • Infringement analysis of formulation/recipe proposed by R & D and Review of critical patents
  • Patent Pre-screening report, Patent Portfolio: Identify blocking patents,
  • Design IP strategy for blocking patents and identify patent filing opportunity
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
  • 2-4 years of IP experience in Pharma or AgroChemical Industries
  • Basic Qualification: Masters in Pharmacy/M.Sc Agriculture (Required); Post Graduate Diploma in Patent Law & Practice (Preferred)
  • Technical Skills Required: Patent database search, Ability to find out relevant prior arts, Sound Patent & Formulation Knowledge, Good knowledge of US & Europe Patent Rules for doing Infringement analysis, Understanding of the chemical/agrochemical business will be advantageous
  • An Ideal candidate for this role should successfully be able to deal with a fast-paced environment with competing priorities across multiple stakeholder
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
