Dear Candidate,Greetings of the day!we have opening forFinance ControllerLocation: MumbaiEssential FunctionsExperience and knowledge of best practices in accounting & financial ethics, independent audits, Regulatory compliance requirements, all generally accepted financial and accounting principles (Indian & Global) like I-GAAP, USGAAP, IFRS and all government and regulatory requirements.Managing various facets of Finance such as management accounting, evaluating business processes, statutory compliances, institutionalizing organizational risk management processes, Audit & Taxation.Proactively monitor changes in government regulations and policies, industry, and economy affecting the companys finance and accounting practices, assess the implications and develop / modify procedures and controls to ably respond to the situation.Job Responsibilities:Develop and implement and organizations financial processes. Preparation of Risk Control Matrix and Flowchart based on Process Design. Testing of the design and operating effectiveness of the controls to ensure that the design is functioning effectively and issues identified are fixed. Strong analytical & organizational abilities with adeptness in formulating & preparing Scope of Audit, Audit Plans, Audit Program and Audit Reports with recommendation & suggestion for improvement in internal control system Implementing various trainings & tools for audit staff, enabling more effective & efficient audits and leading to significant audit findings Extended advice to engagement teams through accounting, auditing & audit methodology consultations, new reiterative guidance on GAAP, GAAS, laws & regulations Conduct Business process excellence in building transformation engine and interface applications for an end to end automation of the accounting function like provisioning, benefits accounting, receivables tracking, cash flow, bank account management, management dashboard etc.Prepare monthly financial statements and other informational reports/analysis. Develop and monitor policies and procedures within generally accepted accounting principles and corporate guidelines to ensure sufficient cash flow, reduced operating costs, and increased revenues. Manage the cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts in accordance with policy Review financial results and discusses anticipated changes to highlight future needs and trends. Review monthly operating reports for accuracy, completeness and major variances between actuals vs budgeted results and provide timely report to support the decision making process. Assist in preparation of Annual Budgets Assist the CFO with financial reporting as required at Board meetings and the Annual General Meetings Ensure that all statutory requirements of the organization are met as per the timelinesDesired Profile:Pro-active, dynamic, ambitious, mature and result oriented Strategic Business Management Professional with experience leading (or being in the second lead position) the finance function of large corporates. CA with at least 15+ years of broad experience in the entire gamut of Finance & Accounts Experience and knowledge of best practices in financial ethics, independent audits, SEBI compliance requirements, all generally accepted financial and accounting principles (Indian & Global) like I-GAAP, USGAAP, IFRS and all government and regulatory requirements.
