Job Description

    Manager Finance (Treasury)Job Purpose:The Major Role is to handle treasury Operations related to investments of BFS, BHIL and other subsidiaries. It basically includes Cash management, Compliance check of deals, settlement of deals. It also involves preparing data for RBI filing, preparing various MIS for Front Office, Investment Committee and Board papers. Transactions are few, but high value and need to be handled with sensitivity. And therefore, this job role is important to the organization.PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES :- Preparation of daily cash flow and settlements of treasury related operations - Preparing daily cash flow for the company for investing surplus funds. Majorly it includes taking all inflows in the form of settlements and considering outflows. Net investment of funds to be done on daily basis.- Deal settlement by coordinating with Front office, deal checking, YTM & Price checking. Also Coordinating with Brokers for Buy and sale of different scrips & calculating and tracking margin calculations for equity trades- Checking & Verifying all the Investment transactions (fixed income, equity, new asset classes) end to end. - Preparation/review of monthly Investment Returns, Projections and other monthly Reports - Preparing and reviewing of Monthly Investment Returns for Front office, basically it includes Short term / Long term Equity returns, Fixed Income Returns & Combined Returns.- Preparing Projections for the company for Income Earning and reviewing the same- Preparing Monthly reports such as Position report, Movement register, Income Projections, Capital Gain Calculations.- Ensuring all proper accounting entries related to Treasury operations have flown in to the system- Preparation of RBI Returns, Other reports - Preparing data for various RBI Returns according to its frequency (monthly, quarterly and annual). - Handling various queries from RBI related to returns filed- Timely preparation of data for returns- Preparation of data and preparing / compiling investment committee meeting and Board meeting related papers- Preparation of Financial data and financial statements - Preparation of financial statements of unlisted subsidiaries of BFS and BHIL.- Passing accounting entries in Tally and SAP, as applicable- Preparation of other financial data required from time to time. - Other Projects - Support system development activities related to Treasury activity.- Migration of Demat accounts, trading accounts from one DP to another,
