There is a large focus on innovation, inclusion, giving back to the community and sharing knowledge.Department OverviewWealth Management and Investment Management Technology (WMIMT) is responsible for the design, development, delivery, and support of the technical platform behind the products and services used by the Business.Morgan Stanley Wealth Management (WM) is a product of the acquisition of Smith Barney from Citigroup, which was completed in June 13. Its core client base is individual investors, small- to medium-size businesses and institutions, and high net worth families and individuals.In the second half of 14, WM reached a milestone, with its business having surpassed $2 trillion in total client assets.Position Overview :The Practice Area Group (PAG) that owns this position is known as FA Platforms (FAP). This subdivision is responsible for providing technology solutions wealth and investment managements branch management financial advisors & their clients including but not limited to branch workflow, CSAs, FAs and Operations in Field and Workflow Services.As part of a strategic vision, we are extending our platforms to cater to various workflow automations and STP integration with the various firm systems. We are developing this state of art system to scale up and support current platform for BAU activities and at the same to build the new platform to support the target state architecture. We are putting lot of investment in architecture, design and some of the best practices in coding to ensure we deliver high quality products and want to make sure we retain the knowledge and experience. As we are investing a lot to build our future platform it is important to invest on our resources that will have knowledgebase and experience. We want the apps to be cloud ready and follow the 12 factor. This is part of the strategic multi-year initiative to provide scale to business.Role & Responsibilities

• Work closely with Business analysts and other IT partners on day-to-day basis to ensure smooth delivery of projects
• Ensure that system architecture and integration design standards are in alignment with broader platform strategies and business goals.
• Work as full stack developer working on java and angular tech stack in Field and Workflow Service MSAS, India. The person would be responsible to provide stable technical solution which is robust and scalable as per business needs.
• Provide hands-on code development and testing based on the project delivery needs.
• Work on BPM and end to end solutions.

• Work experience primarily with building enterprise server-side applications using J2EE Technologies
• Good Core Java, Spring and programming skills
• Expertise with HTML 5 and CSS 3
• Good Design skills (Design Patterns)
• 4 to 9 years with hands-on experience Java/JEE , Spring, ORM / Hibernate, XML, XPath, XSLT, Web services - RESTful, Webserver (Apache Tomcat preferred)
• 2+ years with hands-on experience with Core Javascript and JS Libraries and Frameworks, specially AngularJS (1.3.x +) and JQuery
• Working knowledge of the Javascript Unit and E2E Testing using Karma and Jasmine Framework.
• Skilled in Client Side Framework Design, Client Side MVVM and Dynamic Web Interface development
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience with Junit, JProfiler/Jprobe (any profiling tool)
• Unix or Linux development

Good to have skills:

• Good understanding / experience in the following technologies would be a plus;
• Worked on DevOps and familiar with writing cloud ready apps, good with Spring Cloud.
• Familiar with Agile.
• Proficient with a database (preferably DB2), including modelling and DB performance tuning.
• Test driven development.
• BPM knowledge on any open source or IBM BPM.
• Exposure to financial industry.
