He / She is responsible (with others) for all general accounting and reporting activities for multiple legal entities of Sciex within the Financial Shared Service Center of Sciex EMEAI.The scope of the job area will include related areas like banks, intercompany, accruals, accounts payable/receivable, and related controls activities.Ensure all the accounting transactions are recorded timely and accurately with a high standard of supporting documentation.Accrual and Journals

• Hosted Employee posting and release
• Bad Debt Allowance
• CECL Allowance
• Load India Trial Balances to Oracle
• Reclass of Business unit and Country miscoding
• Marketing Accrual
• DHR India Commission Calculation

Intercompany

• Send Final IC confirmation to India
• Upload and Check ICP corrections

Other

• Perform reconciliations regarding Balance Sheet accounts, that include explain and adjust of the outstanding balances.
• Posting and review of all stock take differences
• Ensure that the accounting and tax documentation is updated and maintains the traceability of it in order to support the accounting and the taxes in proper way.
• Provide support in internal and external audits.
• Actively participate and support of the improving accounting process into the ERP (Oracle)
• Includes ad hoc duties as necessary

Banking

• Back up for banking
• Maintenance and reporting of Bank Signatories for EMEA
• Prepare and send cheques for processing.

Closing Activities

• Closing of AP/AR and GL periods including all checks and reports
• HFM Loads in pre/post close week
• Trial Balance Checks and Error Reporting
• Checking AR double posting

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• Accounting certification (combined with longer and profound accounting trajectory)
• Proficient experience in general accounting: banking, AR, intercompany, month end closes, account reconciliations, and reporting.
• Capable of managing the month end close activities independently
• Experience in working in international matrix organization; preferably SSC experience
• Knowledge in US GAAP and IFRS accounting principles.
• Customer service oriented (internal and external)
