GM Procurement - Digital strategy

Job Description

This role will be the mix of core competency of Digital & e-Procurement with a primary responsilibitties of techo-functional digital tranformation initatives in the Procurement domain. The role will play a lead role in P2P process improvements and Ivalua implementation across the business domains.Experience of working with e-procurement Procure to Pay or Source to Pay (P2P/S2P) products like SAP Ariba, Coupa, Ivalua, JAGGAER or any other similar strategic eSourcing/procure2pay/Source2pay product suite across direct and indirect spendsHands-on experience in implementation, roll out and support of sourcing and procure to pay systems (upstream and downstream) like Coupa/ Ariba/ iValua.A result-oriented management professional with over 10 years of success in Procurement, Strategic sourcing, Solution Consulting-SAP Ariba,Ivalua, Project management, Stakeholder management and Team management.Strong Programme Management/PMO acumen to drive large scale strategic and Digital tranformation projectsLeadership experience in Supply Management / Sourcing / Procurement and broad Supply ChainMust be a senior level executive who has demonstrated experience with scope and complexity of the organizationProgramme lead and key catalyst of P2P and S2P process realignment for Ivalua implementationPossess a comprehensive knowledge of leading supply chain management principles and practices, including the management of the procure- to-pay cycle, strategic sourcing, value analysis, inventory, and logistics management.Manage solutions through identification of business requirements, functional design, as-is and to-be process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), training requirements, defining support procedures, governance mechanism and risk assessment.Develop guidelines, policies, and standards for system-wide supply chain activities including vendor management practices, utilization management efforts, inventory management, purchasing practices, institution-wide supply chain systems and data management, approaches to systems accounts payable functions, transportation and warehouse activities.Develop a strong overall Procure to Pay strategy that supports the overall organizational strategy, performance objectives and customer expectations.Develop sourcing strategies to identify product & services that are supportive of program & strategies while optimizing affordability, sustainability and community impact of the capital that are spent.Create and manage the operating budget, including required productivity to deliver sustained 3-5% improvements year on year as well as strategies to transform where needed or opportunities present, ensure maintenance and appropriate capital spend and investments are well planned and executed.Define, drive, and monitor performance ensuring continuous improvement on key core supply chain metrics (operational productivity in labor, materials, and transportation and any other variable costs, inventory management improvement in turns and service levels, fill rates and turn time, sourcing effectiveness and savings, environmental impact, community impact of dollars spent, etc.).Define, drive, and monitor performance ensuring continuous improvement on key core supply chain metrics (operational productivity in labor, materials, and transportation and any other variable costs, inventory management improvement in turns and service levels, fill rates and turn time, sourcing effectiveness and savings, environmental impact, community impact of dollars spent, etc.).Experience and understanding of SAP MM transactions and operationExperience in working with ERP developers to change/ implement functionalities in ERPs to enable both way communication with front end procurement tools.Demonstrated experience as a senior resource leading in the definition of systems strategy, gathering and documenting business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis, as-is and to- be business process designs and running pilot programs.Minimum of 15+ years of procurement, sourcing, and Integrated Supply Chain experience of increased responsibility in a complex multi-site global environment, Digital Transformation, Sourcing procurement, Supplier relationship management, Procure to Pay, Spend Analysis, Global Sourcing, operation, excellence with End to End implementation of S2P platforms like Ivalua, Ariba, Coupa etc
