Job Description

    The Role ResponsibilitiesThis JD requests the suitable candidate to apply for the Senior Project Manager role in CCIB Channels. The candidate will help in delivering this programme byStrategy
    • Should align with group strategy to deliver against the bank s digital initiatives

    • Make sure Risk management is followed in each engagement and implement Risk actions with owners.

    • Provide Governance by following the Agile principles and ceremonies to help the team remove impediments and provide senior stakeholders a consolidated view of the program / portfolio.

    • Lead to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank s Conduct Principles: [Fair Outcomes for Clients; Effective Financial Markets; Financial Crime Compliance; The Right Environment].
    • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
    • Exercise authorities delegated by the Board of Directors and act in accordance with Articles of Association.
    Our Ideal CanididatePreferred Experience
    • Bachelor s degree / Master s degree preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science or any other relevant stream of education with equivalent work experience.
    • 12 years overall and 5 years in Agile.
    • Owning and driving key technology deliverables end-to-end.
    • Engaging closely with the engineering team to help determine the best technical implementation methods as well as a reasonable execution schedule.
    • Ensuring all the projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
    • Having good knowledge of agile process and able to conduct scrums / daily stand-ups.
    • Pushing agile agenda through better collaboration and communication both within the teams as well as across partner teams.
    • Running daily scrum of scrums with scrum masters, identify potential issues / risks and escalate appropriately and on-time.
    • Working with stakeholders including the Executives, Product, Design, Implementation, infrastructure and interface teams to align the project delivery.
    • Ensuring resource availability and allocation.
    • Creating a plan incorporating all the stakeholders delivery plan and own and monitor the plan end to end.
    • Using appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.
    • Performing risk management to minimize project risks.
    • Identifying, designing, and implementing internal process improvements.
    • Having strong analytic skills.
    • Support the release process.
    Key Requirements
    • BE / MCA - Great educational background, preferably in the fields of computer science or engineering for technical project managers.
    • Proven working experience as a project manager in the information technology sector, especially in BSFI.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Visio and Office.
    • Agile and PRINCE II certification are a plus.
    • PMP Mandatory.
    Role Specific Technical Competencies
    • Establishing an environment where the team can be effective as per the Scrum Framework.
    • Formulating techniques for effective Product Backlog Management.
    • Ensuring that goals, scope and product domain etc. are understood by every member in the Scrum Team properly.
    • Ensuring that the Product Owner has clarity on arranging the product backlog to yield maximized value.
    • Helping the Scrum Team understand the need for clear and concise Product Backlog items.
    • Should be able to remove project impediments that stand in the way of team productivity and performance.
    • Facilitate Scrum events as requested or needed.
    • Leading the team through healthy conflict and debate on ideas.
    • Teaching, mentoring and coaching the organization and team in adopting and using Scrum.
    • Empowering and guiding the development team on self-management.
    • Should be able to ensure that the Scrum process and the effectiveness of the scrum team is well maintained.
    • Ensure that the Scrum roles, rules, values and rituals are followed, and optimum benefit of Scrum is obtained.
    • Should clearly exhibit the skill in working in tandem with the development team, Product Owner as well as the entire organization through the implementation of the Scrum framework.
