This in turn helps us to provide better support to our broad client base.The Role ResponsibilitiesThe Governance Lead will be responsible for overseeing the business project work ensure they are delivered as per company s standard. The responsibilities of the Governance Lead include managing the day-to-day activities in the project management space, providing guidance on project management processes and standards.Governance Lead Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the relevant stakeholders including business heads to manage initiatives across PCD Protection Programme
  • Support in preparing presentations for key programme meetings including Refinement Forum and Strategic packs for Senior Management
  • Capturing meeting minutes and tracking action items to closure
  • Managing the project key risks and issues that need management attention
  • Manage Programme Financials and ensure initiative costs are not being overrun. Prepare budgets for new initiatives post coordinating with relevant teams and ensure all applicable cost types are factored
  • Manage Programme / Initiative resources and allocate in Clarity for timesheet booking
  • Liaise with CPBB PRC and ICS TRP team and ensure the Programme is compliant to SCB project governance standards as per New Ways of Working
  • Support the initiatives in conducting planning workshops and day today project activities
  • Provide trainings to new hires in the Programme
  • Maintain Programme artefacts and manage repositories
  • Continuously evaluating projects to ensure they are meeting company standards, adhering to budgets, and meeting deadlines.
  • Ensuring project management/collaboration tools like Clarity, JIRA are up to date including Project static data, status update including RAG status, key milestones, financials, risks, dependencies, issues and resource forecasts, and they are tracked and reported to the Refinement Forums.

Our Ideal Candidate
  • A Bachelor s Degree
  • A minimum of five years experience as Programme Governance Lead / PMO
  • Previous experience in Consumer Banking and Information Cyber Security initiatives and engagement highly preferred
  • A Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification will be advantageous
  • Strong knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Clarity PPM and MS Office suites
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to details and technicalities
  • Excellent organizational and technical skills
  • Good interpersonal and multi-tasking skills
  • PMP certified
  • Undergone New Ways of Working training
  • Good understanding of Information Cyber Security and Payment Card Data Protection controls
