Job Description

    The Head of Business Excellence will be responsible for delivering analytics insights and forecasting as well as customer engagement excellence for both Human Pharma and Animal Health Businesses. The person drives overall execution excellence and operational rigour instilling one team culture across commercial functions to drive overall business growth of Boehringer Ingelheim.This role is a critical thought partner to Business Unit Directors and the larger India executive team towards developing and growing a profitable franchise. This role drives overall GO TO Market and digital transformation journey through sales and marketing enablement with customer at the center. Lead and inspire the AIF and CEE teams towards collaborating with larger commercial teams for optimal go to market and customer experience models. Tasks & responsibilities
    • Provide insights in multiple dimensions of commercial operations- Sales, efforts, Incentives, External data, execution, Channel performance, Marketing effectiveness, Brand and corporate perceptions etc., through a robust and structured systems for creating relevant Analytics within the organization or through 3rd party agencies and to enable senior management to take faster and accurate data and insight based decisions.
    • Drive execution excellence and performance through process- drive sales excellence through close monitoring of key performance indicators on Sales force efforts, for both, Face to Face and Digital Channels.
    • Plan, design and deployment of customer segmentation , Targeting and profiling. Ensuring sanctity of Customers list for entire organization.
    • Growth focused and market opportunity based field force sizing- Structure and sales force deployment that optimizes resources.
    • Planning, deployment, measurement, computations and disbursement of effective sales force Incentives.
    • Target / quota setting at all levels of field force
    • Creating systems, solutions and capabilities for Commercial excellence, Data and Analytics within the organization, generating insights and enabling the organization to take decisions and to constantly undertake newer and innovative projects.
    • Creating a robust process of forecasting based on scientific models and providing insights for budget, outlook and LTF numbers in collaboration with marketing, Finance and SCM teams
    • Managing multiple stakeholders both local and global, data management from different sources, cross functional collaboration, influencing without authority
    Requirements
    • Education : Bachelors degree, Masters degree, Diploma, preferably with an MBA and a rich experience in Managing Sales force Excellence and analytics functions
    • Ability to critically analyze and Objectively define problem and provide solutions
    • Strong interpersonal skills to lead, train, coach teams and manage conflicts
    • Ability to work with and harmonize demands from multiple stakeholders.
