Job Description

The main activities of the Head - Network and Datacenter is to lead team to manage, maintain, implement and promote secured, robust, stable, resilient Network, Security, Voice /Video infrastructure. Explore, evaluate and propose latest technologies in the respective domains. Lead BAU team for operational activities, any critical incident or task. He will lead the team ensuring effective service management to meet service-level agreements and control cost.The activities in the Datacenter domain is to oversee delivery of Datacentre services to internal clients while working with all vendors for external Datacenters or facility and building management team for internal Datacenters/Technical rooms. Datacentre Manager also would help to produce various reports and metrics to show that Datacentre Services are delivering all services according the agreed SLA. Responsibilities Direct Responsibilities
• Manage, maintain, implement and lead a team to administer, secure, robust, stable, redundant Network and Security infrastructure, and Voice/Video domain
• Leading Installation & Implementation for key Projects
• Lead BAU team for managing Networks, Operational activities, monitoring and Incident management
• Interact with Application architecture team for designing IT Infrastructure.
• Maintain documentation and SOPs
• Contribute for all monthly/ Quarterly dashboard reporting, Vendor Management, Support Change and Capacity Planning
• Procurement: Drive RFPs, bid proposals, contracts, scope of work reports, and other documentation for various Network Projects and Support
• Outsourced Service/Vendor Management: Regularly review and evaluate services provided by our vendors to make sure that vendor service meet SLAs agreed
• Audit and Controls: Perform various controls related to Network & Datacenter regularly and support/contribute all related audits
• Capacity Planning: Regularly monitor capacity information. Design and implement short term and long term strategic plans to ensure capacity meets existing and future requirements.
• Datacenter Infrastructure Management
• Design and build new Datacentres according to BNP standards. Gather internal team requirements and translate into actual space and power requirement for Datacenters.
• Be a strong advocate of Datacenter policy, procedure and standards to make sure that Datacenters in India are designed to meet local regulatory requirements and BNP global audit and security standards.
• Provide advice to India IT Management and collaborate with Regional/ Global Datacentre Manager to understand latest Global standards and directions to implement it.
• Standardize IN Datacentre Services across all facilities, DC SLA Management
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
• Minimum 15 years working experience in large enterprise Networks
• Strong technical knowledge in Network & Network Security Domain
• Experience in designing, delivering and managing services for Datacenter
• Has expertise in managing Complex Network Infrastructure
• Routing and switching expertise, Campus and Datacenter Networks
• Experience in Cisco and Juniper Routing and Switching Domain products
• Strong knowledge of protocols : Multicast, ISIS, MPLS, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, SCCP, MGCP, QOS, VPN, H.323 & TCP/IP and Ethernet networks
• Strong knowledge of Network automation, LAN/MAN/WAN, Firewall, proxies, Load balancers, DDI, Traffic analysis tools
• Experience on Cisco IP Telephony, Voice gateways, PRI/ SIP connectivity, Cisco VC, Trading floor and Voice recording
• Has expert knowledge of various Datacenter facilities
• Has a knowhow of Regulatory requirements related to Datacenters in India
• Experience in Managing teams

Specific Qualifications (if required)
• B.E or Equivalent
• CCNP, Checkpoint and Fortigate security Technology
• Datacenter certification
• ITIL desirable
